Top kek, if I wanted a surgery mobile I would buy one. Dirtbiking and dual sport is cool but riding a motorcycle on the road is gay and boring. You're exposed to more danger than driving but you still don't really get to experience whats around you, so whats the point.

>> No.19990273

Also you're subject to the same traffic laws as any other vehicle, you need license, registration, insurance and filtering is illegal almost everywhere in USA. I guess it depends where you live but in the city a bicycle is definitely more fun. Plus there are e-bikes for fat guys, which are also a good time.

>> No.19990293

Already have 3. I've been riding bikes since I was 5 ish. R1, kx 500, and a project bike. I wrecked a lot as a kid and once nearly killed myself in high school on dirtbikes - started to get into cars at that point. Now I have both again for about 7-8 years. I'm a total gearhead and adrenaline junky, but I've developed some weird sixth sense of risk management with vehicular stupidity. And when I ride now, my gear is a lot better lol.

It's an attitude thing. If you're an adrenaline junkie trying to show off you're going to probably either get badly injured, arrested, or move on once you realize the risks.

If you're just out to experience the open road and find new roads and new sights and don't need the adrenaline hit it's very relaxing. Touring on a motorcycle is fantastic, it gives you a feeling of freedom and connection to the open road in a way cars just never could. It's also very zen, carving up mountain roads and feeling the change in air temperature as you go through dells and pass by creeks. Motorcycling is freedom. It's living. And when you find the right motorcycle it becomes a part of you. It's one of the vet few things that I will always enjoy no matter what.

Sold my FZ1, my V-Strom 1000, and now selling my Ninja 250. Riding is fun as fuck but after my last crash it's just not worth it anymore. I've done trackdays and ridden the best mountain roads in the country so it's not like I haven't had my time in it. If you ride a motorcycle or motorbike, you should automatically be at fault in an accident. These things shouldn't be allowed on highways. Your car insurance is fucked if you hit one of these assholes and they crash. Explain to me how a vehicle with no seatbelts or airbags is allowed the same privileges as a car with numerous safety features. That's what pisses me off.

why don't i just run on to the highway and get it over with? people in America are awful drivers AND people who will damage you for life or kill you without a second hesitation because they had to be drinking coffee that second. the only reason to drive a motorcycle is to impress girls, but the type of girl who likes motorcycles isn't the type you want to attract
