The promise of trustless digital value without fungibility is a flawed one
Nobody wants an asset where, once someone has transacted with you, they have access to every transaction youve ever made and every transaction you will ever make
The use case is still worth trillions
Protecting assets from divorce theft
A hedge against government tyrrany like 2a
The ability to cross borders with a universally accepted value instrument without any physical evidence of value transfer
For this use case to be realized the asset has to be completely fungible, private and trusted
Bitcoin is not that asset

a T O N of people bought bitcoin when it was 16k+ and got fucked in the asshole, regular people that post on facebook and everything. Any time a normie talks about wanting to buy BTC, some other normie friend of his will come with the story of the time they lost thousands on bitcoin.
