My stop-loss was for trading, not investing. I wanted to get as much profit before it dropped post event. Going into today I already sold half of my WKHS for a 100% gain. Now I bought back in on the dip and I cannot lose more than I've made so far even if WKHS goes to zero. This is the most ideal position to be in and shows why you should always take profit.

If you're really that worried about it dropping and not coming back up in the foreseeable future, you could sell half at 8.80 and put your stop in at around 7.20 which would basically be breakeven but you run the risk of getting stopped out only for it to come back up. The real problem is that your average is too high because you FOMOed in and you shouldn't own anything that you're not comfortable holding long term.
