Moda is decent for getting mundane shit done, or researching information / motivation to trade.
It has a bit of a dirty feeling though. I'm assuming partially because it affects histamine receptors; it makes me feel like my skin is crawling at anything above 50mg (only a quarter of a pill).

Adderall will fuck you up long term. Worth doing every once in a while, but take it chronically and you'll find it hard to feel any sort of natural dopamine. Not worth it to be depressed.

There's really no harm in trying moda if you think it could be a better alternative. It's cheap and easy to obtain. Best way I can describe it - you'll feel like you've had a great night sleep, you'll be able to tune out distractions, solutions to problems should come to you a little quicker and you'll be able to work for longer. There's really no need to get a prescription, you can buy it online.

*NOTE* Adderall and moda don't mix well and most people report that in tandem they make you feel like shit.

Addy as the advtange of being killed by vitamin c so you can fall asleep more but it is so much more addictive.

I like evekeo over adderall. Same compounds but different ratios. Less stimulating so if you have sleep problems already I recommend it over addy and mod. Plus vitamin c kills evekeo too.

Honestly, in my experience adderall makes me very focused but makes it difficult to patiently think through all the details of something. Coffee improves my attention to detail. IDK about modafinil I've only taken it once and I don't remember what I was doing at the time.

Just remember that it's going to be very frustrating learning to program with a deadline. You need to have crystal clear attention to detail, and expect to stay up till 3 in the morning every day debugging code.
