Anybody who thinks that a mere $1.5 trillion of liquidity per annum can keep this ponzi scheme afloat is delusional. The direction of the stock market is down until September/October, just before the election. Then the Fed will turn the money-printers back on, and send it soaring. Although, only in the short-term, because, in the medium- and long-term, it will start crashing against gold, because of all the inflation.

Tesla won't stomp NIO out. Chinese will buy NIO vehicles as most will not be able to afford a Tesla, but the trend of electronic vehicles is growing. Even if NIO copies concepts and designs from Tesla, they cannot do anything about it, such is the case with all companies who have their products copied in China. Huawei phones literally use apple and Samsung tech, and look how well they sell.

Fact of the matter is people on here will shit on Chinese stocks simply because they are Chinese, but China is a huge market with enormous money potential and there's no denying this. Even if another covid outbreak happens, they will recover. It would take a literal war to destabilize the Chinese economy.

You have to read and understand a polls methodology to understand which it is, regardless of the news source pushing the poll or even who conducted it. When reading such methodologies, be scrupulous of any vagueness. Voter enthusiasm says otherwise. The fact that the MSM has wall to wall coverage praising drugged out antifa foot soldiers pulling down Washington and Jefferson statues and telling everyone how wonderful it is is critically damaging to the Democrats. You can't see that because you seem to have a personal bias.

>Biden a communist
Biden might be senile, but one thing he is not is a communist. This guy grew up during the cold war, even if he forgets everything else he's not going to forget that this is America and we don't do free everything. Whatever your view on the US, the resounding flight to Biden as the "Not Sanders" option shows that the majority of even left-leaning voters understand that socialism would fuck over our economy far worse than any recent crisis. The only thing that could put the markets back on edge about the election is if Biden chooses a far-left running mate.

USA has been sucking the blood of emerging nations, China, and EU for decades. We no longer produce anything ourselves, so we export all our steel and other resources and import the products made with them in exchange for IOUs. That's right, we don't even give them our monopoly money, we give them *IOUs* for the monopoly money. IOUs that constantly go down in value because we just keep printing away the purchasing power. Imagine being Mexico, or Brazil, or India, or Taiwan. Imagine being so cucked that you'd agree to that.

At the end of the day you can't consume what isn't being produced. The shift towards deglobalization is going to fuck Americans over as prices skyrocket. Of course, they'll still keep headline inflation low. But there will come a breaking point where EM will shift away from the dollar. Whether it's the yuan or ruble or whatever, it's already happening little by little. https://www.nytimes.com/reuters/2020/06/19/world/europe/19reuters-turkey-cenbank-china.html

Once the dollar starts falling, there's absolutely nothing Powell can do anymore. Oh don't worry mumu, make sure to stay invested in America, the US stock market will have the biggest gains in all human history! Just like Venezuela!

I read that about 70% of retail investors lose money. Is this true? I'd expect people to death-grips bad stocks forever instead of selling for a loss (at least that's my instinct) and generally speaking, shares do trend upwards, especially the big companies that normies recognize should be safe-ish bets. Why would the average trader do so shitty? I imagine "failure" to be below average returns, but not negative ones, and even then it's still better than leaving it in the bank. What gives?

No one knows. How long can all the money managers who missed the rally sit out of the markets? When they come back in, are they going to be buying dividend stocks? What about the record outflows of cash still sitting in treasuries and money market funds? And the record levels of savings in the US?

And what the hell is a dividend stock?

Visa, MasterCard, NVIDIA, Lockheed Martin, TSMC, Applied Materials, Nintendo, AbbVie, Marvell, and Sony all pay dividends, but you might not think of those as dividend stocks.

Dark pools, from my understanding are better understood as liquidity pools for larger asset purchases/sales. It's like a 13F they lag, you wouldn't know who is doing what anyway, they're just liquidity tools to keep big movements from affecting the books.
>No evidence to say this. Let alone every short sale by an MM is a facilitating a "buy."
By definition, action in a dark pool is not retail. They state that all trades could be buys and all trades could be sells. Dix is just a probability of a purchase or sale. It's really an almost useless indication from my pov.

>ompanies that truly hire because of muh coloreds and muh cunts are doomed to fail because they aren't hiring based on skill and track record
I have somewhat mixed opinions on this. Consider this scenario: most blacks and women are too retarded to perform executive duty for any public company and people have known this to the extent the dogma may have percolated enough to discourage a few so far on the right hand side of the bell curve they aren't taken seriously enough to try. With these divershitty initiatives, these few overlooked blacks and women are now being uncovered. The net effect is for a few years as this fresh talent is farmed, the companies who put them in leadership roles may actually thrive and outperform. Then after that, say 5-10 years down the road the minority staff revert to the mean of their population and underperform. So maybe the play is to watch companies most resistant to black and female executives and when they install one, buy then in a few years as the thesis matures and the talent level drops yet companies are still on the bandwagon, start shorting maybe with some kind of statistical arbitrage. Just a thought and fuck niggers

I think RH is fine if you're not options trading. I'm going to be switching to either TD or Wellsfargo and I think anyone with more than $20k invested should probably do the same.

TQQQ, SPXL, and swap in SOXL for all the rest since it's essentially an unleveraged version of SOXL anyway what with NVDA, AMD, INTC etc. in there

Possibly ViacomCBS would be the most hit by this. I know the SuperBowl is pretty fucking big for them.
But they've already taken so much pain, I wonder how much further they can fall.

Does ESPN cover some of the NFL games? Fox Sports? Those might thrive if they cover non-nfl sports. I'd think maybe Tennis, Golf, and other non-contact, non-team sports could benefit.

>yeah big opportunity but can't take that to the grave
can't take what to the grave? speculating on an unfortunate occurance?

>>19831544
kek but this is probably the way to do it, leveraged index esposure and extra exposure to individual names you expect to outperform.
Besides, SNE and NTDOY aren't on the US indices.

Might be worth taking some soon. NBA teams will be heading to Florida soon and with the situation there it isn’t unlikely that some players get it before any of the games have even started.

seems ViacomCBS is plagued by poor management.

Somewhat related, I've used TubiTV a bunch since the shutdown, and heard it mentioned here a few times (both because they have some good anime). TubiTV was just bought this year by Fox. Viacom has owned PlutoTV since Q1 2019 and I have never heard anyone talk about it or use it.

I took the loss on Viacom, a little earlier than I should have. But I don't think it's going anywhere nice.

Should work out perfectly. Black people are the most affected race by this virus, and most of all, the virus is most dangerous during fall and late winter. Which is when the NFL AND NCAA seasons are played. All it takes is one black player to die and BAM, NFL and NCAA season cancelled. EVERYONE knows how OVERDRAMATIC black people are. 1 person dies and black people makes a GIANT deal over it. Easy PUT decision for massive gains. If no vaccine or treatments are made by September, PUTS on Draftkings is life changing money.

Easy play boys, Puts on Draftkings, if no vaccine or treatment by September.
