The reason why the seemingly arbitrary 83,333 number was chosen was because the sales for each block are split among 3 different price pairs - ETH, DAI, USDC (83,333*3 = 250k). That means there will be a total of 100 blocks, or a price increase of 1.015^100 = 4.43x, a far cry from his figure of 87x. The public sale being sold out is almost a guarantee at this point.

Suppose the team proceeds with their plan that will involve them attempting to sell their tokens for 87x their current or initial prices or whatever

Naturally as they progress up the valuation levels demand will begin to drop. Eventually there will come a level where there is no demand at those levels. Maybe that’s 10,20,30x here, doesn’t really matter.

At that point they will see that selling isn’t an option there and will reduce the price or stop selling.

Neither of these outcomes are negative for current holders of the token.
