I've had the idea in the back of my head for a while.

Haven't seen anything similar or anything successfully mimic an ETF.

I imagine it being a sector based investment...privacy/iot/currency etc.

because it's a massively illiquid market and most cryptos are essentially unregistered securities and shouldn't even be allowed to exist legally speaking.

what if the assets held within the etf are actually backed by the initial investment by USD? as collateral

ETF is ultimately just holding a basket of crypto. The whole ETF hypenis just about having a way mainstream can buy into crypto ina normie legal friendly way. If you want to set up one you can if you do it anonymously. No shill but why do you think some are excited about Statera which is kind of a crypto etf with some gimmicks thrown in to make it more pumpy.

dude are you a newfag? This is literally Statera (STA). And you still have time to get it but youre almost late. This is like buying the first vanguard ETF in the 70s. Go find /stag/ on this board and read

This has been tested so not exactly true. But I doubt youd legally get a crypto ETF on the ASX NASDAQ HANG SENG etc

This Anon is right. You have VectorspaceAI though who plan on incorporating their NLP datasets into creating “smart-baskets” for fund managers to access via their token VXV

Not exactly an expert but I don't think STA is in the hands of the devs where it would be feasible to partner. But maybe, could be done. Better ask in the /stag/

I am sure the op started this thread to shill some defi scam on uniswap but an ETF requires a regulated centralised solution and Coinmetro provide one with their TraM copy trading product.
