19625965 No.19625965 [Reply] [Original]

Just sold my 40k link stack and netted $130k in profits. Been holding since mid 2018. I feel like we’re about to see a massive dump. If I can get back in at around $2.50 that would be great.

Ok I didn’t mean this to be controversial. I made almost 15x my initial investment. I have enough now to pay off my student loans and my parents personal loans. That would leave me with around $50k. Which is a nice buffer to have. I couldn’t really justify not taking profits and hoping for something crazy like a million dollars.

The 25 to 30% taxes on it are going to be brutal. More if they claim he invested with non-retard knowledge and so did it professionally. It's a nice skim, but could fuck you in the long run if you buy back in and anyone proves you know what the fuck you're doing with the second round.

In Canada, you could end up losing 55% due to having to pay self-employment instead of capital gains (cause it wasn't a one off and you're a pro now). Up to 70% if it's delinquent a few years and you get caught and owe penalties. Is it the same in the USA?

BTW, congrats on the skim. Hope it all goes right.

Retard detected. It's only self employment if his main profession is a day trader. A couple of trades a year is no different than doing some portfolio management which in no way means he's a professional considering the other side of fucking up potential.

That being said op just made the worst mistake of his life. 56k here and never ever selling until 350$. Paying off student loans off the bat too is incredibly retarded
