I'm collecting $1066/wk on unemployment til the end of July, ...work would pay me $675/wk if I went back today.
Convince me to back to work.

Rekt by CV gaps potentially. Is there a way to subsidise your income with benefits?

Your work will be writing a letter advising that they offered you your job back and you didn't take it. You will lose your benefits, and be liable for every dollar after the 1st or second attempt they made to reach you.

Employers will overlook corona gaps (more than they would normally at least) as long as you make it sound like you did something productive while you were unemployed. Learn some basic ass coding or some BS.

When your work calls you to come back and you don't show you lose your UI.

Put yourself in the mind of a Stacey hiring for a job. She sees you have a gap in employment, knows it's because you chose unemployment over actual work, and curls her nose up at you and in the bin your application goes.
Add to that, the job you can start now, someone else might actually start it tomorrow. You'll end up competing against 20M people to get a job if you wait too long.
But if you literally have a job to go back to, I'd talk to your employer about it and see if/when they want you back.

Don't. Abuse the system and facilitate it's crash. Make wicked dough on the crypto market, then convert to monero. Keep collecting welfare as long as possible and then unemployment while having enough money to start investing. Make tenants pay you in crypto by proxy. Working is for knaves.

It fucking clearly asks you to deduct taxes on both state and federal. So many people with low income will trap themselves badly. The maximum UI amount is $504+600 federal and yet most people don't deduct the 14%.
