I keep everything as simple as I possibly can and just watch the trend. Trade what is and now. If SOXL is moving up like it is right now, buy. If the price is moving down, sell. Higher highs and higher lows you buy. Lower highs and lower lows you sell. As long as the price trend persists stay in. Use trailing stops, when the stop is breached wait for confirmation of the next trend and get back in. At least 2 rounds of higher/higher or lower/lower. Go in, SET A STOP and let the trade run its course.

AAL seems so doomed. They have 33B in debt with 9B in assets. BEFORE corona they were already paying 1/3 of their EBIT toward interest on their debt. Now they take on billions more debt and expect a massive drop in their income for the next few years. If flight demand returned to peak levels immediately and they saw 3B/yr EBIT they'd probably be spending more than half of that on interest on debt alone. If they spent the other half trying to pay back that debt (which obviously isn't practical) it would still take them 20 years to pay it all off.
