that is a garbage broker, avoid at all costs. American stocks market is where all the gains are. There is plenty of gains to be made in the German markets as well but the 4 EUR trading fee per transaction is absolutely ridiculous.

>I dont really know when Germany takes my money away
I talked with a tax accountant today, he said to me that you are only taxed on realized gains (i.e. when you sell your stocks) you don't get taxed on holding. And you have to report your gains when you are doing your Einkommensteuererklärung before the 31st of July of the next year. So in this case, if you made gains last year, then you have to report them on your tax returns before the 31st of July this year.

try like 6 times a month. But i am not a day trader. Brokers give you a CSV with all the transactions so you don't have to worry about documentation when it comes to the annual tax refund. Also, you should always do the annual tax refund anyway, you can get few bucks back from the government if you're lucky. If you don't sell anything I am not sure if you're obliged to do taxes or not. But if you're on ETF's you should do taxes, even if you don't sell, that is why it is shit.

>Why are German stock markets so shit?
I guess bureaucracy or something, there is few decent stocks like BMW and MTU Aero Engines and some others which are exclusively listed in Germany. But I wouldn't do active short term trading on any German exchange.

Whatever the case might be, I encourage you to start trading in the market and to open up deposits with brokers as soon as possible. I also was quite intimidated by the tax situation in Germany, but I am an expat and I don't even speak German beyond daily used words and I am fighting my way through the ELSTER forms, no amount of bureaucracy will stop me from achieving these sweet gains. I am sure you'll fare way better than me.

not much, i began with around 800 and i grew it into 1200. the amount really doesn't matter at the beginning, just get your feet wet and get into the market. Once you feel comfortable, add more to it.

>i earn 2800 gross and with german Tax i have left around 1800€.
if you don't live in a cucked big city then i think you will still have decent amount to invest. Just do your research before you get into any stock and NEVER swing trade (i.e. never use emotions) invest only in stuff that you trust and you are willing to stick with on the long term. This will give you the confidence to hold even if the stock goes down. Start with 500 euros then see how much you can grow it. You're not in for fast gains, think long term, if you can grow your money 15% per year at an investment of 500 Eur every month then in 10 years you will have 100k euros sitting in your bank. If we make it more conservative and say that you will get gains of only 5% per year then you're gonna have 70k sitting in your bank at investing 500 EUR per month, just 500 EUR. patience is the name of the game. remember that.

DO NOT DO THIS

Whiting is bankrupt. Even when companies emerge from bankruptcy, the equity holders are generally wiped out. If you want to play this, I would wait for them to emerge and see if there are any interesting securities coming out of it.

Basically, post-bankruptcy, the new shares and any odd securities (i.e. warrants and other weird stuff) get dumped by the hedge funds and bond funds that held the bankrupt securities. This can create an opportunity to get a lot of value from a situation that's largely misunderstood.

You're a monumental idiot or a shitty troll.
The S&P crashed because of a looming credit crisis, not because of some stupid virus.
We recovered because the Fed is essentially guaranteeing liquidity in credit markets by becoming a buyer of last resort.

>>19500016
I don't want to donate it to a charity because all of the ones I've donated to in the past turned out to be shady/immoral, and the food banks in my area are overstocked most of the time because the homeless are too upper-class to eat canned food like me. Also I wanted to invest and make money which brings me to...

I guess, men do get more free testosterone around women which can boost gains (hence the pinups in old pre-s o y gyms). There are lots of fitness videos already around free but probably not many where the woman is naked. I don't know if it's too complicated instructions-wise to get a woman to do the things I want while working out simultaneously though.
But it's an interesting idea though, I'll think about it, though by self-improvement I more had in mind continuing to learn things.

Anyways, I didn't really find any motivation here, but I have decided to buy some more SSL instead anyways, so I guess it all worked out in the end. Thanks anons.

I think people are talking past each other. They aren't arguing a "bear" case. They are stating facts. How these factors reflect on the stock market is the billion dollar question. The reality is everything is (still) fucked, its just that simple. Its also a reality that SPX is only -8% from all time high and we are still going up. If you're looking for a strategy, I would be cautiously bullish, and any hint of a downward trend immediately switch to bearish.

Buy dividend stocks and high yield bonds for that passive income to spend on thots. You're no longer trading time with them.

>> No.19503681

Why are the yields still so low shouldn't this bull run bring them all back up? Why aren't they moving at all.

fed mandate to minimize unemployment, that means low rates for awhile. there is no other choice but the market for the foreseeable future. covid19 has created a crash and will create a bubble in one years time. truly amazing.

also i'm fucking back

Imagine being patriotic about stock markets... says a lot about your future.

You might want to look around a bit on other exchanges when you get tired of paying 2025 valuations in 2020 locally. Klondike was also far away, you know.

Any attempt to increase rates automatically tanks the market.

I'm really looking forward to the circus that will be the first attempt at a rate hike. Markets are trying to price in negative rates even with JPow begging everyone to stop; the first whisper of a hike is going to trip a circuit breaker.

Fuck, man. You had the world's first internet access. You had BBS. You could find any kind of porn and nobody would care, not even the feds because they didn't know yet. You had the anarchist's cookbook and you had arcades. Why did you turn your back on all that and start caring about some pop stars that are now melting in your fucking eyeballs?

I'd argue against its limited upside in the immediate timeframe, and even moreso in the interstitial 2 years, with little volatility longing it could see substantial upside. You should diversify into EWY, it's fucking rocketing. 100% recovery is being priced in for SK.

Well, no. Tons of people living paycheck to paycheck overleveraged in subprime auto loans and overpriced rent in metropolitans that nobody but the top 10% can really afford. Meanwhile corporate debt is ATH and there was serious disruption to business over the last 4 months meaning forbearance at best and many businesses are liable to go bankrupt which in isolation would be fine, but everything is so deeply interwoven that I won't be surprised that if restaurants eat shit so will CAT and V.

Here's your rail freight for the year.
