I use all these ETH exchanges like IDEX and Uniswap and eth is just a completely slow pain the ass platform for them to be built on. Why the fuck aren't people running eth dapps on Fantom now. Imagine making swaps on Uniswap under a second and paying a tiny fraction of the price we have to now.

Because eth is a network that helps interact with other dapps. Once people start moving to FTM, others will follow. This is a waiting game where ETH has first-movers advantage.

Smart money is already in Fantom.
It is still possible for normies to accumulate thousands of Fantom.
Most will fomo in to Fantom when it's at $100 a coin

but it is eth in all the important ways. you write smart contracts in solidity.

the only thing it doesn't have yet is a network effect.

DEXs are not yet ready for primetime. Until they are, there are still a few solid CEXs out there that provide you many of the advantages of a DEX, such as no KYC and unlimited withdrawals (eg: PHEMEX)
