For those noobs that come in looking for a serious answer -- Chainlink is a centralized company offering on-chain oracle services to enterprises. This goes inherently against decentralization but is honestly a good enough solution for the time being.
One of Vitalik's main principles for Ethereum (and the whole community desu) is no compromises for decentralization. He also hates exchanges. Loves Dexes though. It makes total sense and so many threads about it are so fucking annoying.
