Let’s keep it simple.

https://v1.uniswap.exchange/swap/0xa7DE087329BFcda5639247F96140f9DAbe3DeED1

* please keep in mind that the new address ends with “3deed1”

For those that held the old token, you were airdropped a BPT and can access it at the address below. You are free to either let it ride or pull it out and convert it into STA at the address above.

So, what is STA right now? Trustless deflationary token. Whoever held STA or STAC had a share of the pool (you can check it at https://pools.balancer.exchange/#/pool/0x0e511Aa1a137AaD267dfe3a6bFCa0b856C1a3682).).

The pool is split into 5 coins, and has to keep a 20% fixed rate. STA contract is made so every tx burns 1% of it. The balancer is constantly looking for arbitrage opportunities, so swing trading is risky (humas vs bot, basicly). You can check the pool tx in the "swaps" tab.

Yesterday the pool had 39M STA, at the moment of this post the pool has 1.7M. Total supply was 101M at the time of release, and it's probably below 97M right now (check on etherscan).

In short. Pool sells and buys to keep the 20% fixed value, burning supply with every tx on top of everyone buying or selling. Supply gets lower and lower until the pool WILL have to buy from people, to keep the 20% there.

If you're not stupid, you'll get what I mean. It took devs 3 tries and a week, but again, they made a stupid money printing machine.

Again, I've been doing nothing but trying to help. Yes, the website is yet to be updated and all you can find is the pinned telegram message on the channel. The project was launched a month ago, then a post popped up here and everything went to shit in about 4 hours. Devs had no idea Uniswap V2 did NOT work with deflationary tokens and part of the liquidity is still stuck there. Yes, v3 is about 32 hours old. There's no whitepaper, the website contains link to trade/pool/contract, there's not much information, but their idea was to deliver first and update later. Did not expect this kind of traffic.

My advice. If you can throw as much extra you can at buying fresh V3 on Uniswap and keeping your balancer account if you have a decent amount like say .5% or more. Cause this will be a nice steady grower imo. But you want some V3 for the moon mission. Best of both worlds and its what I did.

Look here:
https://pools.balancer.exchange/#/pool/0x0e511Aa1a137AaD267dfe3a6bFCa0b856C1a3682

The pool has 5 tokens: WETH (ETH), WBTC (BTC), LINK, SNX, and STA (currently the token name STA doesn't appear, only its address).

You can see in the top left that each token represents 20% of the total value of the pool. When tokens move in price (either up or down), the balancer automatically sells / buys tokens to bring back the ratio of each token to 20%. When this rebalancing is done for STA, some of the tokens are burnt, which means that over time the price should increase because of supply / demand.

Hope that helps

>> No.19432882

>>19432828
Normie explanation. There are two aspects to this token.
1. Token burning. Every transaction has 1% of tokens burned forever, permanently diminishing supply. In the first 2 days, over 4 million tokens have been burned of the 101M starting supply. This makes your tokens more valuable, as obviously there's less, and rewards holders instead of swing traders.
2. There's an AI that has control over a balancing pool. It will buy and sell accordingly to keep price more stable. On a deeper level, it has 5 tokens - BTC, ETH, STA, WSC, and LINK. These tokens must always be in balance in the pool - i.e. if BTC raises in value, it will sell some of the BTC to get ETH, STA, WSC, and LINK.
This means if STA price drops, it will sell BTC and everything else, preventing price drops. If STA price raises, it will sell STA for BTC and everything else. This is good for a variety of reasons. Dumps are less catastrophic, and combined with token burning dumps are often beneficial for the token since the pool manages to get more of the other tokens. On the other hand, pumps are less crazy and more of a slow rise.
People can also add more to the pool (i.e. adding all 5 tokens equally) to make the pool larger, providing liquidity and getting a percentage of transaction fees (the fees separate from the burned tokens).

>> No.19432968

>>19432930
Well I have to imagine it will rise quite fast in the coming weeks. Deflationary tokens are the bomb and it was only released two days ago, hence the low liquidity. Plus there's no reason for people to provide liquidity with how fast it's raising - remember that when STA rises, BTC and other coins rise, STA falls. Suppose your share of the pool is 50,000 STA and that is equal to 10 LINK, .1 eth, etc. (fake numbers, pretend they're all equal). If the value of STA doubles, it becomes 25,000 STA and 20 Link, .2 eth. So you loose out on the STA doubling in value and don't gain any profit - i.e. your share remains static. The only profit you make is passive income from transaction fees, which is guaranteed but small.

>> No.19432973

>>19432930
The pool containing the 5 tokens is the interesting part. Statera happens to be one of the 5 tokens in that pool with the twist that there is a burning mechanism for each transaction (and transactions are done automatically as part of the balancing process) which is what gives it value on the basis of supply & demand. It's a pure financial product for which the price will be determined based on market fluctuations, there is no platform / app or anything else here.

>> No.19435064

>>19435028
There are two aspects to this token.
1. Token burning. Every transaction has 1% of tokens burned forever, permanently diminishing supply. In the first 2 days, over 4 million tokens have been burned of the 101M starting supply. This makes your tokens more valuable, as obviously there's less, and rewards holders instead of swing traders.
2. There's an AI that has control over a balancing pool. It will buy and sell Sta to keep price more stable. To be more precise, it has its own wallet/pool of 5 tokens - BTC, ETH, STA, WSC, and LINK. It is coded to keep these tokens in constant balance no matter what - i.e. if BTC raises in value, it will sell some of the BTC to get ETH, STA, WSC, and LINK such that the BTC in the wallet is equal in value to each other coin in the wallet.
This means if STA price drops, it will sell the other coins for STA. If STA price raises, it will sell STA for the other coins. This is good for a variety of reasons. The AI is a direct competitor to swing traders, discouraging the dumps and pumps that always come from that. It also helps negate dumps in general, as it offsets the loss from a large sell. This combined with the 1% token burning makes dumps almost beneficial, as it's practically guaranteed to bounce back eventually and burn tokens in the process.
The AI's balancing pool is also a liquidity pool, which is brilliant. I recommend looking that up if you don't know how those work. And as with all uniswap-type coins, people can provide liquidity to the pool (i.e. adding all 5 tokens equally) for a share of the pool and get a percentage of transaction fees (the fees separate from the 1% burning).

Barring any unfortunate events, is it stupid to sell before the pool depletes its supply of STA?

You should not be looking to sell this before you have even somewhat made it and to your question yes its stupid

To the big brain anons here, it's funny how there's like 3 deflationary tokens on 4chan all of a sudden (sta, hex2x, pamp). I wish I wasn't a new fag and could comprehend as to which one is the best bet for future gains.

Yeah and then there is BOMB too and NUKE, it's pretty easy just buy STA its the only coin that has not yet pumped and actually is pretty interesting concept.

It's fascinating seeing how for once in my life, dumps while I'm longing don't make me feel bad.

I already have a decent STA stack. Not selling anytime soon.

Yeah all i can do is think about the dude who dumps, rip his mental stability in 3 days.

>> No.19435373

I'm scared. I'm scared of STA being another shitcoin

>> No.19435392

You have nothing to worry if you bought in before or at this point. Even if it dumps your stack will not be worth less than you paid for it. Just enjoy the ride and remember to take out small profits at some point.
