Initially, I thought people who believe the moon landing was faked were unfortunately retarded. Unable to comprehend anything as true as 2+2=4.

However in speaking to these people I've come to find that while they are pretty stupid when it comes to physics and biology, the true source of their disability is their inability to separate politics and science. They believe them to be the same subject.

In reality, it's actually possible to figure out the truth, or even make predictions using science. It's one of the best tools we have. Ironically these people who deny science are the ones who crave the truth as much as any scientist, however the one tool that would show them the truth is the one they deny.

This is very obvious when they mention things like Google results and propoganda. And the comments regarding how every space faring country and the hundreds of thousands of scientist, laborers, contractors, secretaries, corporations, etc are all hiding the truth. Think of all the shit that's been found out due to a whistleblower. In many cases those people knew they would be jailed or killed. You don't think that not even ONE would blow the whistle to try to save humanity from the Boogeyman?!

Unbelievable. And very sad.
