you first have to look at the volatility, anything below 20 is good, anything above 20--30 is shit
then you look at the volume, which is zero, only retailers and robots are on the market, then you have to look at the direction, which is none because big players are still waiting, then you look at the price and everything is too high, especially considering financial reports will get worse.

then there is still US election, which increases volatility. So 2020 is probably fucked.

I know you're probably meming, but the real answer is because leveraged ETFs suffer disproportionately on the way down, making them perform worse during high volatility. Even if you expect the market to be up overall in a year, you can't guarantee where leveraged ETFs will be in a year.

Just look at SOXX and SOXL - SOXL dropped harder than SOXX at the crash, but has only recovered at the same rate because the volatility is holding it down.

it's 3x leveraged, DLQ is the 2x levvy one

also 'no' to the second part, it's leveraged daily, not long turn. so if things go down day after day it really hurts you, you might as well be dead; but you don't go to zero, it acts more like an exponential decay.

I went to do some repair work on a rental house like 3 weeks into lockdown here in TX. The tenants were black with a husband, wife, and 4 kids living in the house. In addition to the people who lived at the house there were 5 other black males there just hanging out, the husband's friends I assume, when I got there. In the 3 hours I was at the house another 3 or 4 cars stopped by and those people stayed to hang out for varying amounts of time, one was a friend of the wife and brought her 2 children over to play with the 4 kids who lived at the house.

Blacks get infected at a higher rate because they don't seem to think that social distancing applies to friends and family in my limited experience.

Brazil is a major oil producer and exports massive amounts of tropical fruits. It's the 5th biggest economy in the world. However, that other anon was clearly larping, bad news from Brazil is what the US strives on, hence why they instigated a military coup to transform the once vibrant and quickly evolving Brazil from a would-be 3rd-place world power to a police state, ensuring its demise and slowing its progress for a good century. The US is well-known to have acted in this way not just in Brazil and not just once, but throughout the entire south america many times.

Well the man who lives there seemed alright. He's in his early 30's, ex-army, really nice and friendly. A couple of the other guys there were sketchy as hell though. They left me alone for the most part and the guys hung out on the back porch smoking black and milds while the wife tried to keep the kids out of my way in the other rooms while I was working. I was there to install a new stove and vent good and re-hang a couple of exterior doors that no longer latched. They wanted their shit fixed so they could cook and close/lock their doors again.

TA makes a lot more sense when you realize it's just moving averages and things that filter the signals those MA's give you. mostly if you want to buy something you just want the average price to be rising, the pivot highs and lows to show an uptrend, and volume to be backing up the move. that's TA in a nutshell unless anyone thinks they can elaborate further.

Agreed, I'm currently having massive success using a volume-price-based indicator with a strategy that's designed to identify the points where the big boys must start/stop pressure to not kill the stock movement. Even the memeline patterns like 3bp work as a function of how good they match this concept: 3bp happens when a big guy puts pressure on, then waits, then on again to avoid fucking the stock, which is what creates a resting bar in-between movements.

yeah, same ring of bullish as first dot com bubble, when tech was the future of new millenium.

It's completely comparable and worse in many ways.
One: These stocks are pumped up by market weighted institutional buy in and not because geniuz mega brain future outlook huffing investors see so much value in them.

The fundamental valuations are almost always skewed with retard level optimism on future free cash flow, because that's what everyone wants to hear, infinite growth, infinite money.

Thesis with this setup is that whales/institutions define market movement, rest just follow the momentum. So their movement alone in the end is a highly predictive signal of volume and price cooperating for the selected time period, and this can be assessed from not the current movement, but the current resting point in the graph of the adjusted price-volume movement.
