phase 0 has no effect on transactions or anything
its just the beacon chain getting started, think of it as a live beta test. Then there's phase 1 which introduces sharding. Phase 2 is when transactions actually get to happen and it's scheduled for 2022. See referenced figure for the phase descriptions from the Eth Consensys Report.

Is this bait or do you unironically not understand what phase 0 is? Phase 0 is not production ready ETH 2.0, you can't use it for anything except staking.

nope. phase 0 is pretty much an incentivised testnet, similar to olympic was to ETH1.0. issuance will actually go up, because PoW rewards will stay the same while stakers will get paid on top of that.
but don't fall for the tx/sec meme, zk-rollups already scale tx throughput by 1000x and they work on ETH1.0. the scalability improvements that come with ETH2.0 are more complicated and won't show immediately, but only over the next years when the smart contract owners figured out how to deal with a multi-sharded environment.
