>MoneyGram Digital Business Surges in April with Strong Customer Growth
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/moneygram-digital-business-surges-april-142300434.html
>DALLAS, May 12, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- MoneyGram International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MGI), a global leader in cross-border P2P payments and money transfers, today reported 81% year-over-year transaction growth for its digital business in April – an acceleration from the first quarter of 2020 where the company reported 57% transaction growth. These strong trends have also continued into May.
Uh oh /biz/, I thought you told me that MoneyGram was dead in the water? Meanwhile in reality, XRP is saving that whole fucking company.

MoneyGram partnered with Ripple and started using ODL, which is powered by XRP. Since then, the company, which was in pretty dire straits, has started to turn around. It is an objective fact that XRP saved them some 9 million dollars last quarter, and that was with limited usage for remittance services. Expect more global money-transfer companies to adopt XRP as news like this continues to roll in.

XRP is dead. Maybe you get a 10% bounce from here. MAYBE.
The new crypto to pump and dump is going to be Proton XPR. They're literally just trying to capture the XRP market as much as possible (at least the half that didn't move over to LINK). Buy in at $0.015, hold to ~$1, and dump it hard.

also, Ripple literally cant lose. Dont think ODL is its only usecase for XRP. Ripple is in the pockets of so many fucking international companies and systems that it being deemed a security would cost TRILLIONS of dollars to reverse
And if thats not reassuring, there are members of the treasury who are ex Ripple and members of Ripple ex government, plus Ripple often lobbies in DC

Yea, at the end of the day only 1.9 million wallets hold XRP. Of those wallets, 90% of them hold less than something like 2-2.5k XRP. Right now, people entering the crypto market as a whole are still early in my opinion. There's only some 100 million wallets, and a lot of them are owned by the same people. I won't consider crypto to be really adopted until there are like a billion unique wallet owners.

Every thread I make references facts. What fucking hopium am I dealing? I'm not one of those retarded $589 schizoids. All I see is a project at a low price, that's continuing to secure real-world usecases. There are a handful of projects in this space that can actually say that.

I'm waiting for a better translation for some of the parts of this call, but it seems promising. SBI is a banking consortium holding 5 billion USD in assets. They were also a former subsidiary of Softbank, which hold 240 billion USD in assets. I would like to see Ripple land a bigger bank like that by the end of the year.

I agree with you in the sense that XRP was never intended for the front-end consumer, and that Ripple's target demographic has always been financial institutions. But normies are going to use XRP whether they know it our not. It's already beginning with remittance services. Now imagine when Ripple really breaks into global finance, and you can just use XRP as a bridge currency anywhere you travel, so you never have to worry about exchanging shit. Normies will be all over that shit, whether they know it's powered by XRP or not. But yes, those things are probably all just going to be small byproducts of XRP being adopted for its real usecase as bridge between CBDCs.
