I remember in 2017 Eth mooning from 10 usd to 300 usd.... this triggered the 2017 bull run because everyone (me inluded) saw ''wow eth did such a long leg up... I coulda ve pofit off.. let's gamble now with other shicoins''

My question is: How could Eth moon so violently if before 2017 the cryptomarket wasn't the normie tier market that it's today?

I mean... where was all the money coming from? (there was no normie involved before ethereum went to 300 usd)

i bought eth at 50$, spent 100 hours reading about it and liked the concept. Thats how it got to 300$, people were making a conscious decision that its valuable, then mongoloids come in after as you have said.

Same thing is happening with btc right now, people with brain are loading up as much as possible before it inevitably breaks 20k and animals come back into the market to pump it to 100k+

staking isn't out yet, but it will be better for the network in the long term if more people can afford to run a node when staking comes out, so price is kept under control

There's no doubt in my mind that ETH was, and still is, ingenious. Lots of bitcoiners saw its potential and a combination of whales/retail ended up pumping ETH.

One other thing: 2020 has been so fucking weird, and I've already seen things happen this year that flat-out do not make sense to me, that BTC pumping to $100k wouldn't seem to farfetched anymore. Even up until last year I thought, "I could never see Bitcoin going past maybe $50k". But this year, especially with the BRRRR normie rebbit meme and the monetary policy we're seeing, couple with the insane unemployment numbers... I just don't know anymore. Anything seems possible right now, or at least we've paved the way for some insane monetary plays.

Why? Cause btc is at 10k? You're too exagerated. Don't be a fan boy... this could crash as usually once it reaches 12k

normies didn't even know what it was ''ETH'' in 2016 they heard about it in 2017 when it mooned to 300 usd
From that event we went into the mania phase where everyone was trying to became rich overnight

It may seem a meme but defi is how the crypto holds and will build value. Cryptos end game is collapse of the dollar and traditional banking system. Not even kidding. It's coming. Bitcoin will be 500k by 2023.

You know it wasn't ETH mooning that caused the last bull run. It started with Btc breaking 1000k and moving strongly. Then a bunch of forks gave spare cash to buy shit. Also it wasnt ETH mooning it was icos that needed eth to invest.

Had it a parabolic pump?
From 10 to 300?
Which steps did it take along the way? 10---50.---100---?
