Can't fight the Fed. There is momentum from that and stock buybacks. Lots of short term money can still be made now I think. I certainly wouldn't short the market now but once the Fed blows their load and things aren't "back to normal" in the fall and winter, I think the reality is going to start to set in.

Also there are so many mutual fund managers and such looking at 1 month trades, they are riding the Feds tailwind. They'll exit when they see that is slowing.

3) A great majority of the market is run by managed funds that are looking to hold stocks for weeks to months, for short term gains. They need to show their investors profits continually, so they aren't playing any long-term games, they are riding momentums.
4) FOMO of retail investors

Reality might take some time to set in. When I was graduating school in 2008 it wasn't a rapid decline. There were good days just like these have been. It takes some time for the gravity of the situation to come to light. The stock market is not the economy, so we have to wait for earnings and more financial repercussions to hit rather than just people being jobless. When things open up and people aren't spending as much, and businesses start going out that have big debt, and then it gets hard to get loans, that's when shit starts to take its toll on the market.

Wether there is a correction now or in a year or three or even four... there will be a correction at some point and it will be an opportunity to buy great companies at a discount.
