I have a pair of $4000 contact lenses. Got them when I was trying to resolve a lot of post-surgery issues with my PRK (flapless LASIK). Ironically I never use them, they're just too fucking uncomfortable, even being custom-fitted, and the optical fix they provide is pretty minimal.

Of course they're worth $0 to anyone else but you said expensive not valuable. If we're talking value it's probably a Yanagisawa soprano sax I have that I haven't touched since high school. Probably worth $3000.

Good move. My last bed lasted me like 10 years. Could've lasted longer but my carpet was getting removed so decided to get rid of the queen size for a twin to have more room. Unironically I went for some no name mattress, like $400. Oddly the new bed used to give me back pain idk if my body just wasnt used to it. Pretty comfy now except I wish i went for a twin long and a more reputable expensive brand. What is $1000 or even $1500 if you intend to keep it for over a decade. Also mine has a weird stain on the corner from the get go that is now looking similar to the stains from nocturnal emissions (which faded to an orange color over time). Suspect mine may have been splooged on by someone and then had it wrapped up in the factory.

I have illiquid assets. For example paintings that go in some auctions for $25k and I bought them for $900. But I am retarded and hold.
I have about $35k in artwork, $2k cash, $6k rolex, $7k stocks, §2,5k crypto.
Talk about a fucked up portfolio. Biggest gains are my art collection and my rolex.
