>Velocity
Might have a small bump in the year. We're in it for 1 to 2 years, i'm sure
>M2
High levels. I'm very weary
>deflation vs inflation
generally inflation, light.

>Im expecting lots of inflation in big tech category of stocks by year end. I think consumer prices drop, healthcare costs grow, and housing flat.
I expect CPI up (inflated prices now will likely stay), stocks to return to normal levels (2016 and earlier) but blue chips will have a lot of weight, healthcare cost up, taxes up (end of short term/mid term), housing drop (5%-20%). There will be a choke up on credit by the banks (see JPM new mortgage UW guidelines) and I think that few people are going to want to buy with job insecurity.

Well, if things play out like that then FRO will hit a thousand as it will be far worse than their earlier super contango. I doubt the crisis will last the entire year, but I am expecting these tankers to double or triple easily in value in the meanwhile. If it goes to previous highs or near them in a miracle run I won't complain though. I just want to see profits start coming already to sell some shares off to pay off margin from other things I am profiting off of but want to keep so I don't really want to sell them back thus I am sitting here stuck on margin when I rather not be.

The 1099-DIV contains all dividend payouts. It's a few line items of qualified/unqualified dividend totals. I believe banks also issue this for interest payments for money market accounts

There's a separate form for proceeds from stock sales, the 1099-B.

It has a literal line item for every single trade you have made along with the price, cost basis, etc. The brokerages and IRS are required to track this.

You don't have to punch that shit in though. You get a total.

Seeing some of these day traders statements are pretty funny though, a fucking 100 page PDF.

I don't trade rapidly so my average is a few pages max a year.

Again, it's only a couple lines per brokerage that you punch into your tax software.
