That's incorrect. TVIX is constantly decaying to 0 and undergoes regular reverse splits. It makes previous prices look like 10000000 comparison when in reality it may have been $70 at the time.

The right way to buy and sell TVIX is buy low, anticipate a spike, and sell when the spike is nearing the top.

Interesting. I've done some VIX and TVIX analysis and figured out that in past similar scenarios, the 2nd spike of TVIX peaked at a 23% to 30% decrease from the original high, giving us a potential high of $700-$770 on this next spike.

This will also take about a month to do.

However, none of these were true recessions and just massive drops. In the only other semi-leg down scenario, TVIX only had a 16% decrease on the second spike, potentially giving $800. However it was quickly bought up and didn't fully fall.

Alright, it's time to talk one-on-one with everyone here. Listen carefuly brahs

Dow futures are down well over 300 points. accept it, the market is going to open down and probably continue downward until EOD. accept it. if you're holding bags, you're going to lose some money. but everything is going to be ok. you'll recover, it will just take some time. hold on to what you already have

once you've accepted this, put your big boy pants on and buy as much TVIX as you can afford and buy it as soon as you can. i guarantee it goes up 3% minimum by 10am Eastern. hold until 3pm eastern then SELL. Dow futures will be up Tuesday as the dust settles and as we go into the week we will get more positive news of business opening.

Watching Princes of the Yen for the first time, very interesting. It starts out a bit dry and historical but then picks up when it shows how the Japanese central bank intentionally fueled a bubble that caused the "miracle economy" in the 80s. The heads of state knew that they needed to manufacture a crisis in order to enact a new economic regime and get rid of the old system, and the popping of a gigantic bubble was the perfect way to silently take power from the people. Very apt analogue to today

Tldr version

Vaccination is done on a random sample of society. This leads to formulas of 60-90% needing it to give herd immunity.

Actual infection in society can create herd immunity at 10% of population assuming enough variance in behavior and susceptibility.. Aka the most social or super spreaders are highly likely to get infected and removed during a natural infection spread vs vaccine

Depending on certain variables herd immunity is possible for cv at 10% infected.

it shouldn't be a binary decision. know your own risk tolerance and buy portions on the way down. if you are committed to a company (or an index), buy more as the prices continue lower. i dont pretend to be smart enough to know if an individual company will recover, so my advice is based on the overall s&p500 index.

It's very simple

The people most likely to spread CV are also most likely to be infected. The number of super-spreaders reduces vastly after the first wave.

Everyone who goes to a club each night, out to eat 20 times a week, talks to 100 different people a week, etc already got it.

The % herd immunity for a vaccine versus after a natural infection spread is up to 7x different - 70% vs 10% as shown by

>>18850645

The effect on market is that a "second wave" risk is lower than maybe people are modeling based off faulty vaccine herd immunity reasoning.

Herd immunity can occur at 10% depending on variance, and those variables can be determined.

Japan was an entirely different breed of problem. The whole economy was a bubble. At one point a square meter in Tokyo was worth more than some entire European/US cities in terms of property value.
And I am not being hyperbolic here. A single building equaled the value of some US states. Companies stopped producing because buying and hodling property was more pofitable. Wait a week and it doubled.

This crises is absolute babbies first recession tier against that
