Because option tools and education are available to many traders nowadays, they are able to hedge the market slowly and keep pressure on other sellers so that the market doesn’t suddenly crash to the bottom. What's the target point? I think something like roughly 15% of SPY's current value, which would put it within the 245-235 range. That would make sense, considering the first leg was 220 as the low. So that's being conservative, because some sources believe the second leg will go even further down. That remains to be seen, but if you intend to hold SPY for long anyways, then buying at 15% would still be a cheap buy.

MVIS - well MSFT does have some deal with them where they provide some components MSFT needs. At a very high dollar cost to MSFT I'm sure.
