I can't believe almost nobody does this. I think I'm 12 years using plugs now, and the difference is still just as massive. No more micro-wake events from random noises. Even plug type earbuds with a few db of isolation work in a pinch.

I've been using plugs for years and they're life savers, no more getting woken up by shitheads.

One tip. Always have 2-4 spare ones ready to go, already open next to your bed so if you wake up and ones fallen out, you put in the spare and go straight back to sleep instead of fumbling around finding the lost one.

You can re-use them dozens of times. Replacing them each time is horseshit.

To anybody wondering what about your alarm, you'll hear your alarm since it's right in the room with you and goes off till you stop it. You're just cutting out getting woken up by people starting their cars or talking outside walking past.

>>18802716
Use plugs with less isolation. You don't need 30db. With less isolation, you get less internal noise. You might still be able to hear your heart, bit it won't be deafening, and the consistent beats will fade into the background of your mind. It's only sudden noises that will wake you up.

The problem usually has to do with liquid getting in your ear and then the pressure of earbuds can force it deeper causing an infection

just use that alcohol stuff on your ears anytime it feels like you go swim or take a shower, I think its literally just alcohol so you dont even have to buy the special bottled stuff

your post is irrelevant. my suggestion was that, him wearing earbuds was confirmation bias and the night he had good sleep was due to a coincidental drop in nearby emf poisoning (whether it be due to various reasons like the local internet had an outage that night, someone had their modems/routers being operated on that was [mostly] the cause of the problem, and so on).
the earplugs would be relevant if sound was an issue; and, he is a light sleeper. yet, this was not mentioned in OP - so this is most likely not the issue (and if the issue were so simple he probably wouldn't have posted it here).
i hope it was that simple for him, but the reality is we live live in electromagnetic radiation over 10,000x the safety limit for cellular and dna health.
also you have to be 18 to post here, nigger faggot cock sucking jew loving footfag kike cunt at&t huawei shill. go eat bathe in your rivers of animal carcasses and snack on your gutter oil soup, chink.

If you wear braces, try using a nose strip and your retainers or a mouth guard. The sleep I have gotten from this change is outstanding. Also if you sleep on your side, get two pillows alongside the main one you rest your head on. The other two is placed between your knees/thighs, and the other on your sides, to make sure your sides aren't too low, which if I remember right indicates too firm a mattress.

The breathe right brand in walgreens or walmart don't stick on for the whole night, the clear passage one works best for me, it's on amazon though, haven't found any sellers in person yet. Damn good sleep, I'll look into earplugs, thanks anons.
