What the fuck would CB pro do? Nowhere did it ever say I was entering some impossible step of verifying while already being max verified.
I got an e-mail saying 72 hours for the "withdrawal" which is quite a thing to call simply sending the coins I just fucking bought

Get off of CB, go to Gemini or at least Binance. Why in the fuck would anyone who is into crypto enough to go on biz actually still use CB?

Kraken and Coinmetro are the only good fiat on ramps. There is no reason not to just use localbitcoins though.

Use bitpay card

>> No.18780690 [DELETED]

A lot of these others require 3D Secure on your card. If your bank doesn't do that particular system there is no way to use your card at a bunch of these merchants, which I think includes Simplex (Binance uses them).
In the past Coinbase always let you access your coins if you bought with a card so I'm just really surprised.
I never tried buying from Kraken so maybe that will work.
Localbitcoins, the markup annoys me but if I had known about this delay I might've gone there.
Bitpay card yeah, I should probably get that set up for next time.

Gemini looks to have even worse requirements and is based in NY.
I never bothered with the Binance US site but maybe I'll try there or Kraken next time.
Or localbitcoins, yeah, the markup sucks.
Never thought CB was that bad for just buying and sending it off, you're usually dealing with them for maybe 20 seconds, but yeah, my opinion changed now.

what browser are you on, are you using incognito mode, ad blockers, sometimes those can make the site think you are suspicious.

>> No.18782848

hm I was using Brave, not in incognito but it does have that whole shields up thing going. Can't recall if I had been been using it last time I bought, maybe not.

Coinbase pro and the normal site has different wallets for your assets. Your coins might be on one of them?

What I mean is, that you cant access your coinbase pro funds from the normal site

You realize that all cryptocurrency held on CB is insured by lloyds of london right? The whole point of adoption is that everyone can use it, if you want to see real money flow into crypto, you have to tell normies to trust coinbase, and they should. All the technical faggotry about cold storage, and paper wallets is literally cancer to normies. If CB were to get hacked and people lost money it wouldn't matter how safe your tokens are, their value would be zero.

>> No.18784501

What's wrong with Cb outside the fees?

Well, CB pro gives you way cheaper fees.

What kind of retard uses CB over CB pro is the question.

>>18784538 and >>18779747 don't say what their issues are. Not sure if they think I'm trying to do all my trading on there or what. All I was trying to do was transfer the coins OFF of there, which had always been no problem.
But this time they impose a 3 day wait or an extra verification that looks to be impossible to do, with no reason given and no way to know about it beforehand,
And >>18784348 is right, its bad for all of us if there's going to be bs happening right at the gateway.

Looks like the purchase limit is pretty small. $100 per week. Do they up that if you verify?

Its not in coinbases financial interest for BTC to suddenly rocket abruptly. They prefer a slow bull run. Think about it.
