Its the energy sidechain, lition is routing some of the buys customers make through this side chain. With mainnet 2.0 everything will go through this. You can stake your lit for ~40% roi in the official lit stake pool to help the validator nodes secure the network. With mainnet 2.0 everyone will be able to run a node with at least 1k lit

In mainnet v2 when you can run your own node yes. But in beta there are only 3 places for validators and all of them are taken already. You need at least as much as the staking node with the least amount to get a palce, so not doable. But you can use the official staking pool at staking.lition.io/pools to send your lit to a smart contract which will delegate your lit to the validators on the energy side chain. You can choose between different loking times, with 12 months you get your rewards x1.8

I'm retarded but found this stuff in some telegram

GDPR:

Lition was developing a blockchain based peer to peer energy trading platform in 2017 when we crashed head first into the same compliance obstacles. Rather than waiting for the dust to settle, we decided to reinvent ourselves, expanding the team, and broadening our mission. The new goal was to build the world’s first GDPR compliant blockchain platform that still maintained uncompromising blockchain functionality.

We began working closely with German lawmakers to help shape new blockchain legislation and deployment strategies. Dr. Juergen Mueller also played an important role in the design of our infrastructure, offering a wealth of knowledge and experience as SAP’s Chief Technology Officer.

Our solution was a carefully designed public-private blockchain infrastructure with deletable data features. We connect an immutable public mainchain (eg. Ethereum) with our permissioned, deletable sidechains, to provide the best of both blockchain worlds.

Non-sensitive data is stored on a main public blockchain where it remains transparent and verifiable.

Sensitive data is stored on the aforementioned private sidechains, which are built on top of the main public chain.

The sidechains containing sensitive user data can be deleted, destroying the information in line with GDPR regulations, while preserving the block hashes to maintain network integrity. All without compromising functionality, thanks to the novel design.

Lition’s sidechain solution is a perfect example of the commitment required to align new technologies with existing GDPR principles.

So you got lition.de which is a platform where you can buy regional renewable energy directly from the producer. Some of those buys are already going through the energy side chain from lition.io. In Q3 you will be able to pay your energy with lit, with staking rewards. You can already pay with €, BTC and BnB. Mainnet 2.0 will come soon, where everyone can create a node. ATM you can only stake with the staking pool at staking.lition.io/pools. Get at least a suicide bag of 10k fren. This shit is serious. It is also compatible to the EU laws because data from the side chains can be deleted, and that without deleting the hashes so the blockchain is not invalidated.
