Learn to code. That is a literal lie.

There is ZERO mechanism for sybil resistance currently in the Chainlink code or in any of their technical white papers.

You could have a billion nodes, it would still need KYC to be sybil resistant.

Even for a linkoid you’re beyond retarded. Look at this futile damage control. How can you be so dumb that you can’t explain when decentralisation happens? When there were more random unknown people mining Bitcoins than Satoshi knew personally, Bitcoin was decentralised. It maybe took around a month or two. This is why Chainlink by design can’t ever be decentralised, because Sergey will always know everyone who is running a node. What kind of absolute cretin are you?

Bitcoin always had a sybil resistant mechanism (PoW). It was literally its only innovation. And now it's worth $100bil.

Sybil resistance is the most difficult thing to achieve in a p2p protocol. Very few have succeeded. Proof of Work has. Bittorrent has (Bittorrent uses hashes of deterministic file pieces to confirm if sybil nodes are lying or not).

It's true that if there are few participants, bitcoin is vulnerable to attacks. But it still had a sybil resistant mechanism in place FROM THE START so that it becomes sybil resistant with more hashpower.

Whereas Chainlink, has ZERO mechanism for sybil resistance. It doesn't matter if there's 1 node, 10 nodes, 100 nodes, 1000000 nodes. It will never be sybil resistant. It has nothing like bitcoin (PoW) or Bittorrent (deterministic files) to make it sybil resistant once it has more nodes. It will always need KYC.

This is why retards like yourself need to learn to code instead of believing every lie that comes out of Sergey's mouth. They haven't even started working on their collateral reputation system. It's a pipe dream. Impossible computer science with no technical white paper that describe how they will code this impossible thing. It's literally a scam.

Sybil resistance comes from asking 100 random nodes a question and taking the consensus as an answer. If you want more security then you ask more nodes, and you use higher stake nodes. If you're running a million dollar bet then spending a couple hundred on asking a bunch of high stake nodes a question is a trivial expense.

kek, learn to code. your very own statement just proves Chainlink is NOT sybil resistant. You are the literal definition of dunning–kruger.

You cannot ask 100 random nodes, because those 100 nodes could be the same person hiding himself.

That's the very thing that makes Chainlink NOT sybil resistant. It's the very definition of NOT sybil resistant.

It's fucking incredible that brainlets like yourself who've never written a single line of code in their life, who don't even know the meaning of what "a sybil" is, are fucking arguing with literal software engineers about what is and what is not sybil resistant.

You're obviously too retarded to comprehend the topic at hand, so why not just listen to Vitalik who confirms it's not sybil resistant?

That would cost a lot of money. Nodes need to stake, and that stake is risked on their reputation.

Each of those 100 nodes would have to put up LINK as collateral and risk hurting their reputation though. Sybil attack usually means that someone can create alternate accounts at a very low/no cost. This isn't the case here. No one is going to select 100 freshly created accounts with no reputation that have 1 LINK each in them for a high-value contract. But you already knew all of this.
