actually Open Oracle (the standard Coinbase chose instead of Chainlink) allows to do exactly what Chainlink does, take in multiple signed apis and get the average/median/whatever.

It literally makes Chainlink obsolete when other exchanges start adding signatures with their APIs. (And yes, it makes TEEs obsolete too)

And it's free, without tokens. It's literally the Chainlink killer.

Linkers will say "b-but you can integrate Chainlink with it!"

Sure, you could, but it would be completely pointless, so no one will. If Coinbase wanted to use Chainlink, they would have. They obviously choose this standard with is better, and doesn't have a parasitic centralized token.

Open Oracle does exactly what Chainlink does. It takes the average/median/whatever of a network. (And yes it makes TEEs obsolete too)

The only difference is, you don't have KYC, you don't have Sergey, you dont have a centralized parasitic token. It's literally a direct, superior competitor to Chainlink.

And guess what, Coinbase choose to use it instead of Chainlink, confirming it's better.

And unlike Chainlink's 100 fake partnerships that haven't used it in production 1-2 years later. The product is released TODAY, at the time of announcement.

How will you ever recover from this?

WHY THE FUCK WOULD COINBASE USE AN ORCALE THEY HAVE NO FUCKING NEED TO PROVIDE ANY SERVICES WHICH INCLUDE ORACLE DATA YOU COMPLETE FUCKING IDIOT.

Coinbase is a service which would PROVIDE DATA not REQUEST DATA. Hence why Chainlink(data provider network via requesting data) will USE coinbases DATA PROVIDING API.

Coinbase can't "use" Chainlink because coinbase doesnt request data you fucking mong. they are a data SOURCE.

Brain Armstrong just retweeted Justin mart. The way I’m understanding is by coinbase doing this it adds another layer of security. Sergey always talks about defense in depth over security by obfuscation. Not only that this kind of proves theirs a need for “oracles” right? It’s been a long road and nobody talked about oracles 2 years ago. It’s gone from a problem that doesn’t exist to now coinbase can solve it themselves. This space isn’t about blue oceans and red oceans it’s all open source. Hold.

false. it makes chainlink obsolete. The data is signed, it doesn't need to be signed again by a Chainlink oracle/TEE. there's already 100% certainly that the data is genuine. signing it twice is a waste of time and money. No one will use Chainlink to "sign it again"

As for the "network" (medianizing multiple sources), this is literally what Open Oracle does, FOR FREE, WITHOUT LINK TOKENS, WITHOUT KYC. It's literally the Chainlink killer, and it was literally just adoption IN PRODUCTION by Coinbase.

This shouldn't be a surprise btw. Anons have been saying "token not needed" and "big companies will make their own" for years. They were correct (obviously). Now that there is demand (defi), companies are making their own, without a token.

The only reason they weren't before is cause there was no demand.

No, it makes Chainlink OBSOLETE.

The data is secure, and can be medinanized FOR FREE WITHOUT TOKEN by using Open Oracle.

It's literally a Chainlink killer.

Sure, Chainlink can use it to, but no one will be using Chainlink when there's a free, not centralized alternative that is literally supported by Coinbase.

No, you missed the point, because you have inferior intelligence and cannot think ahead.

It's incredibly trivial for any API provider to just add signature to their responses. As soon as there is demand for ANY other type of data, weather, sports, etc, big companies will simply start signing their API data, and then Chainlink will be made fully obsolete, again.

Chainlink was always obsolete btw. Anons have been saying "token not needed" and "big companies will make their own" for years. This is just the beginning.

Obviously you're too low IQ to understand any of the things I just said, but smart anons just did.
