Someone in my family runs a real estate brokerage and I look at the new listings every other day, and the prices are already going down in my city (major city) because AirBnBs have collapsed. They're practically begging to offload this crap. The first thing that has crashed is the rental market, so if you need to rent a place the time to negotiate is the next 1-2 months.

The place I live in (I own it but other units around me) goes for $2300/month on the rental market in Jan 2020, now the same place is $1800 and there are 40 of them on the market.

When the investors trying to offload this crap realize no one is in the market to rent, they will start selling it. I'm already seeing a lot of lower/stagnant prices... but give it a few months of mortgages w/ no tenants, and you'll see low prices in the sales market by Nov 2020.

If you wait until 2021 it might be too late, unless there is a second wave, in that case you might be able to get into the stockmarket and buy that dip anyway.
