Wharton or some shit predicted 1% growth for China this year and 5+% growth for China next year.

I might short the Russell 2k instead. Small businesses are going to take a beating this year and it just hit a run up (4%) Friday. Food for thought and good luck mate

Short china .. you must be fucking fully retarded
Shorting the country that holds the most US govt debt and where everything is manufactured
If China sells their Treasuries US goes straight to the economic Stone Age faster than it is already
Stay and work harder in school and stop posting faggot

>Shorting the country that holds the most US govt debt and where everything is manufactured

Sounds like a problem for them. U.S can take the credit rating hit and dollar devalue and still walk away fine.

>everything is manufactured

They also have to import all of their raw material mostly from countries who are now disenfranchised by the chink virus. Also who is buying their shit now?

>If China sells their Treasuries US goes straight to the economic Stone Age faster than it is already

Who's it going to be replaced by? The Yuan? The currency that is manipulated multiple times per day? A currency that buys commie shit that can be taken away if the governments ego is hurt? lmfao please. China is an over leveraged paper tiger and glorified manufacturing hub.

Your talking shit
They make real stuff that they can use themselves
The US makes unbacked paper credit notes ..kek
China is one of the largest raw materials producers in the world and is right next to Russia
Stop believing what Trump tells you retard boy he was a fucking democrat until he needed a ticket anyway
Treasuries are debt issued by US govt why does anyone have to hold them ? They don’t you fucking moron they could buy anything; oil , gold , steel ,etc etc etc .. the US is over get used to it

>If China sells their Treasuries US goes straight to the economic Stone Age faster than it is already

lmao imagine thinking this

>market floods with US T-bills, pushing the yield on them down to zero
>feds just deficit spend at 0% interest

More like the feds just cite extraordinary circumstances and announce that Treasuries held by the PRC will no longer be honored, and take a slight bump in the cost of borrowing

>They make real stuff that they can use themselves

Yea it's garbage

>The US makes unbacked paper credit notes

It's called the petro dollar. The dinks can buy all the oil they want but they'll be using dollars to do so.

>China is one of the largest raw materials producers in the world and is right next to Russia

They have to import Iron. Also the ruskie don't inherently like them.

reasons to short China:
1) widespread fraudulent practices
2) stock market widely manipulated by gov
reasons not to:
1) we dont know shit
2) we dont know shit
we have no way of knowing which companies are fraudulent, or how fraudulent there are. its a black box. we haven't the slightest idea. besides, so much depends on the guanxi of the executives. maybe you're right that some company is horribly overvalued, but when the crash comes, gov officials make sure to subsidize and protect that company, because the executives know the right people.
its impossible to time the fall. its impossible to guess the extent of the fall. its impossible to tell which companies will be affected.
you're betting against a black box anon

The US market is just as manipulated these days
