Why are you guys 'trading'? So much stress watching the markets. 'Futures are red!' 'There's a sell-off!' Just be a long-term investor. Pick good businesses and buy them at a fair price.

Buffet's only good advice is that diverse portfolios are for midwits who don't know what they're doing. Everything else is an old school mentality like >>18543682

He changed his mind on AAPL and it's one of his larger holdings. He doesn't get stuck on "oh no I was right and the market just doesn't know it yet!!" cope.

Notice how businesses all over the world are desperate for cash, and the Fed and treasury are struggling to get them enough?

The many businesses Berkshire owns are a lot better off considering the cash Buffett's been piling up.

>>18544662
he said it's an oldschool mentality that WORKS. Most of buffett's wisdom wins out, just how he's been cautious while everyone get too greedy the past few years.

This.

OP is right. Trading is a meme and you will lose all your money. As well as your hair, your friends, and maybe your life.

Everyone has to learn the hard way, though. It seems so easy, worth a try. I'm smart, I'm in control of my emotions, this will be easy. Hold my onions milk.

5mins later, email arrives:
"... position has been taken over by the liquidation engine."
