Why the fuck are bizlets so opposed to financing a nice car? I’m not going to sabotage my social reputation for a meme. $4-500 a month is worth not getting shamed or disrespected at wholefoods because of a shitmobile. A car is the ultimate social symbol and determines your personality. I’m not saying get a fucking M Series BMW but get something respectable and stop paying $1000 a month on ewhores and your findom addictions faggots

I've laid back on the crypto and have been saving up, not spending much. Very true about people looking for a way to make big bucks.

Crypto took a lot of my time and stressed me for very little gain. Just focused on working, saving money and incrementally increasing my money.

Went from a bank account of only maybe $50-$100 on average to well over $3000 in the past four months. Not tons of money, but I learned that instead of trying to do huge leaps forward, a single step at a time is more effective and less stressful. Started to split up my money into sub accounts and that has helped a lot to prevent spending money.

Helps that the GF doesn't like to spend money either and is smart with finances.

I'm all for buying a car, but a car at the top price? Nah. You don't do that with your main salary, you use it to invest and get passive income.

It's the worse liability you can have, for example. You're paying $35,000 for a car, and by the time you pay it off, it's worth $23,000.

I'm from Australia, so when I see houses in rich neighbourhoods, I see average looking cars, think about it. They know a brand new car is a big liability.

If I had passive income coming in, then yes, I'd buy a new car. Because that's the purpose of passive income, using it to buy what you want.

The typical response here is why buy a 50k car when you can buy a 20k car, drive it til its wheels fall off, and invest the 30k elsewhere? Buy the time your 20k car runs out, your 30k investment will have 2-3x’d and you can buy that car (or a better one!) without losing money.

Cars aren’t good investments, they lose value. Keep that in mind. I appreciate a great drive but as years go on, you realize how little that’s worth compared to growing your future. But also, everyone spends their money differently.

Second hand is the worst instance to finance you absolute moron. They know only desperate or stupid people can't afford a used car up front so the financing for a 'preowned' car is never going to have any promotions (eg 0% APR) and why should they? The manufacturer and associated finance arm have little to gain. Not to mention, a loan mandates full collision and very high liability coverages, which is going to make your automobile insurance go from $50 a month to over $200 a month. All to drive a sort of new cope car because you're afraid of looking poor.

>be bored landlord
>watched Initial D growing up
>always wanted to be dagumi and deliver tofu in an AE86
>decide to get a delivery job during to make extra cash for next real estate project
>get to use my fiesta ST to deliver food far and wide
>twisty river valley roads
>switch back hill climbs
>no speed limits during wuflu
>"critical personnel only" so no traffic
>GAS GAS GAS

Nothing bests getting to beat the piss out of a little fireball car and get paid to do it. Im making around $1300 a week to break all the traffic laws, verses ~$500 month in loan payments and insurance. I have had zero problems with the car, thanks to its silky smooth 6speed manual.
