Anyone wondering why LINKs community chose it: its devs have largely proven themselves and the tech works well enough that its convinced many projects to integrate with it. Some of the world's largest corporations consider it part of their future blockchain endeavors, which lines up with its price action which has continued to be the best in the space.

So, corporations like Oracle and Binance are behind it, money has chose to be behind it, its community has some smart people in the background, the devs are good... And at the very least the chart is bullish. If you have your feelings about it and where the space is going, do your thing. Trust in your analysis of the fundamentals then. All I'll add is that keep in mind ETH is designed to be featureless for things like oracles. They're not included in it by design.
