Well I want to try something new
I will set 80 euro in btc on the line for the faggot with the best idea.

I have a skate shop in Europe and my mainly way to get customers is by guerilla advertising with stickers or graffiti, but does /biz/ have a better way to do it?

It has to be something that easily visible in the street.

Your customers are mostly stoners anyway, thise people don't have money.

Can’t stand those niggers, do you know how hard is it to run a skate shop as a 30 year old racist doomer?

The money is good, but just hearing on the customers is giving me brain cancer.

Have something like a ramp or half pipe in the store/in front on the store something, where skaters could potenionally hangout or try their new rides, You could have some tools (in the store only) meant for sakteboards, for servics you do not offer. You need to create like a second place to hangout for them. Word will get around eventually.

Organize graffiti competitions (cost=cheap paper walls), build a looped ramp (cost approx 1000 USD) and run competitions.
Speak to Google for targeted ads/ask what the people who look for your stuff also look for and for alliances with them.
Pay the guy with the most twitter/youtube followers to wear your stuff.

Honest to god dont want to like Gary Vee or those posers but create a youtube channel, reviewing shit, giving shit away, showing how to put on griptape and whatever is cooler in the skating business nowadays filming local events, the street artists you sponsor etc .... this is especially effective if you also have an online store and as you say you live in Europe so unless its the UK or the nordic countries by making your content language specific youll have a good nieche

If you aim for long term profits you need to get younger people to start skating.

Get into scoots as they are more interesting to young audience. Maybe even electric ones.

Host "movie" nights for new skate films or whatever they are called. Have a competition to for kids to make their own film with nice prizes + your own merch (kids fancy cheap prizes).

Give stickers to young skaters. Make your store comfortable for teens and skaters.

If you need summer employees, hire a local young skater. (16+ here because legislation)

Season for skateboarding is about to begin. You need to act fast. It is easier to sell stuff when they have whole summer to use the equipment.

First thing you have to is get a fuckload of scooters. Normal scooters, stunt pro scooters you name it, kids are going crazy for that again and that will sell far more than any of your skates. Trust me on this.

As for marketing, move the vast majority of your focus on Instagram. Stickers and graffiti are nice to be in the scene but ultimately dated, everybody is looking at their phone nowadays not at traffic poles. Work on your Instagram a lot, start by basic follower strategies like giveaways of certain items if people follow you and share your story. Then when you gain some following you try to partner with some local brands and shops that are in the same sub cultural circle like skating. More than often it's sneaker shops and weed/CBD shops. You partner with them, organize mutual giveaways and/or even events and further expand your following. And at this point you even have some of their legal dudelmao weed items in your shop to sell aswell. And for the last step you start sponsoring local events and some musix artists/clout rappers who are interested in skating in any way so they all tag you constantly in stories and further expand your business. A single share from a standard clout rapper like that will give you more traffic than anything else. And you can organize giveaways/discount codes give outs through those mediums aswell. And when you expand/renew your shop you organize a small event right there all with your partners and sponsors along with some discounts, at this point you will have a literal line of people waiting to get in your shop.
Do this all with a up to date web shop and you're in profit no matter what.

the futur of any business is trough social media advertising, you really need to get seriously into that, i can link you good tutorial used for dropshipping that you could adapt for what you're doing.

thats a budget tho.

also, on top of fb/insta/tiktok advertising, use fake contest "like & comment to maybe win this" when you have some people around.

you said you sponsor a lot of street artist, they 300% surely have social media exposition to people that might like your shop.

get in touch with your artist guys and talk about a shoutout.
basicaly, they make a good publicity for you, maybe with a discount code or something, and you give them something (a discount or whatever you can think off)

think about "in one year, in two year", grow your media exposure.

Op, i'm a social media manager who's currently a senior at a globally renowned university. I like to help out my biz friends and so I'll manage your shit just for the 80 euros starting out if you decide to go with me, more to be discussed later. I've managed accounts for sportswear and athletics most of my career, with the odd venture into a financial services company or two. Of course, 'll provide proper evidence of my credentials. You can contact me at bizfriend@you-spam.com.

This offer extends to anyone else here. I'm back from uni temporarily and i'm bored only running a few accounts all day.

start selling bikes as well and repairing them
I donno.
it's never going to be that lucrative, cause you need to compete with online stores
unless you gather a big community around you... I donno what the skate scene in europe is like these days... no offense, but skate looks pretty dead from my perspective... uuuuh... maybe there will be a renaissance at some point
right now it looks like bikes are in fashion
not fixies, but bigger tire bikes you know
touring and city
