I have no idea where to start or what anything means, how does someone start trading from scratch?

Any useful lingo or terms would be really appreciated.

1. Ignore "news" and most importantly /biz/ pajeets
2. Lean "real" TA, not the indicator-bermuda-triangle bullshit
3. Start in the 4h chart.
4. Either stay there or go down to lower time-frames as soon as you manage to be profitable a for a month.

what is TA
what is 4th chart
How long did it take you to be full time ? degree or self taught ? it takes you a lot of time per day or you're chill and can enjoy that money ?

>what is TA
Technical Analysis
>what is 4th chart
In the 4h chart, one single candle lasts 4h from open to the close.
>How long did it take you to be full time ?
One year, but I'm owning an online business so, I'd say well over 1000 hours of screen-time.
>degree or self taught?
self-taught, I didnt' have a clue about financial markets before heading into trading.
>it takes you a lot of time per day or you're chill and can enjoy that money ?
I Analyse my charts in the morning in the 4h chart, draw my TA-Stuff. If a pattern breaks I entry in the 15 min chart and then ride the trade through the 4h chart - So it's pretty chill and I can manage my open positions on the phone if I'm away from home if I have to.

Just to be clear, I wish you all the luck if you really wanna make the step into trading. But I promise you, it will be a hell of a ride full of points in time, where you think you're profitable just to see your account down even more a week later. You will feel like giving up multiple times. For me it was a rollercoaster of emotions, also badly influencing my personal surroundings. But as soon as you've found your edge, you will feel free as much as you've never felt before - Then you're literally independent from any form of wagecucking and can start investing in all kinds of assets long-term to be invincible in times of crisis.

I suggest jump right in and do it with an amount that you would hurt for you to lose be it $10 $100 or $1000.
I suggest Robinhood or trading spot btc as both are the lowest barriers to entry.

Also start a paper trading account at the same time. I don't know any good platforms for that. I just know the bitmex testnet isn't any good.

After your first couple months you can read this book Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas to understand some of things he says:

https://www.academia.edu/36209064/Mark_Douglas_Trading_in_the_Zone

You will pick up tools, strategies and techniques along the way.

and what tools do you recommend for learning trading? youtube? online courses? books? shitposting?

Glad to hear that.
>online business = dropshipping or legit thing ?
Drop Shipping, Affiliate and Client-Consulting - Mostly outsourced by now, because I make a lot more with trading now. But that company is my baby I began with after my A-Levels.
>Do you have by any chance a book that helped your or some ressources ?
Babypips is a good resource for TA-Knowledge. I'm not a fan of trading-youtubers, because most of them are full of shit. But I recently stumbled over "Nick Shawn", who in my opinion has the best honest approach every beginner should have. He has a paid course (which I have heard lots of good feedback of) but his free material already should teach you everything you need. And don't underestimate screen-time. As more as you watch the charts, the more you automaticially memorize the patterns price naturally makes. Also, don't try scalping or something like that. I promise you, it will fuck you up, if you haven't got years of experience and just costs time.

scalping?

also how much time do you spend per day on keeping track of the market?

>> No.18427371

>>18427160
Yes, but don't go any lower than 4h-chart. If you're very occupied, the Daily-Chart might be even better for you. But that's up to you.

I only recommend learning basic TA, which can be found anywhere free on the internet just by googling it. And as I've already mentioned in my comment above, Nick Shawn might be one of the few honest trading youtubers teaching simple TA.

You learnt dropshipping by creating a shopify (don't know the terms and all) and then copying the others shops ?
also what's "Affiliate and Client-Consulting "
Sorry for all those questions btw

With scalping I mean Gambling around in the lower time-frames. I know, there are very experienced guys, who pull this off. In Germany f.e. we have Heiko Behrendt (youtube search his live trades). But I doubt any beginner can successfully scalp.

I just set my alarms for breaches of my lines/patterns in tradingview. Other than that I have an alarm for the 4h close where I take just a quick glimpse into the markets I trade. Besides that, I'm busy doing other things.

Money-Management is key. Only risk 1% of your capital with each trade as a beginner.
>>18427389
My pleasure.
>>18427416
Yeah I see lots of people now getting into dropshipping. We consult other companies in terms of search engine optimizations and conversion-optimization mostly. As for affiliate, it's pretty much online advertizing getting money for each buy over your asset. Just look it up.
>>18427451
I'm having some big new online projects I have to manage at the moment. I'm always trying to find ways of creating new income-streams mostly online. But I don't waste money playing the vidya or something like that or starting projects which wouldn't be fun for me, simply because of trading, I don't need to anymore.

>> No.18427641

>>18427583
You need to be very creative to find the new ways of making money or it's obvious things that people never exploited/never needed but you create the need ?

For your SEO business, you have a degree related to that field or it's self taught and self made company ?

>> No.18427741

>>18427641
There's some thruth in that, but there are lots of well-known and highly lucrative niches where your competitors aren't as good as they seem to be on the first glimpse. Choosing and analyzing niches for new projects is something I cannot go into detail now though.

I have no degree, I just started out with a small affiliate site earning my first bucks while working a bullshit-job after my A-Levels and learning everything I could find online about Online-Marketing. Then I acquired my first two clients, quit the bullshit job and made the best I can do out of it. You can create lots of different income-streams quickly online if you do your research and think out of the box.

Almost daily, but mostly I leave again rightaway, because most Anons on this board are just salty Crypto-Shills without any knowledge nor ambitions about investing or business leadership.
But if I happen to find a thread like this one here, I really like it to contribute.
I think if I'm on 4chan, most of the time I'm lurking on /pol/ rather than /biz/.

Glad I could help, Anon. Don't waste your time, set your goals step-by-step and don't listen to 95% of the people on this board, then you're gonna make it, I promise.
I will be lurking for sure and contribute, most likely to threads related to trading. Take care.
