i'll tell you how i did it, worked fine. watch for jobs for students online and get the one with the highest pay. then, look out for investment opportunities and start investing once you have atleast $10k saved up, the more the better. but less than 10k is kind of a time waste. you need to develop interest in finance and be up to date so you don't miss huge opportunities in the markets (like we have right now). i went from wage cucking to investing when i had $15k and now i'm at $350k, 5 years later

Figure out what you want to do ASAP. A few ideas: Trades, military, programming.

If you start as an apprentice at 18 (Even younger possibly) you can be a journeyman by 21-22 with no debt and be making bank. (Relative for your age) Live like a pauper and invest everything you can and you'll be ahead of 90% of your peers by 25.
If you go military, you should be able to enlist at 18 and enter a job trade translates directly into a civilian job. Do your time, do some cool shit, make some chad friends, and invest everything you make. You should be able to cruise out straight into a cushy job based on your connections / experience.
If you enjoy fucking around with computers start messing around NOW to see if youre any good at it, and if you ACTUALLY enjoy it. This path requires uni for the big bucks and it's the only one I have no first hand experience in but it pays the most after school and allows you to do your own thing most easily. (According to my programming friends)

While actually in high school? Odd jobs, save every penny and invest, ask your teachers and friends parents for any leads for piecemeal work or odd jobs, you'd be amazed at what comes up.

Deposit your paycheck into your checking and then split it up among your sub accounts. Your checking can be your "whatever you need" money.

My biggest problem with with myself and friends saying, "oh yeah, I have money for this" and spending every last penny. View the "money you have" as your checking account.

If need be, your savings account can be used to temporarily loan money to checking if you need it. Just gotta make sure to pay it back the next paycheck.

How much money do you already have? When I was in HS and was 17yo in 2017, I did some illegal stuff and made $4k. Got caught, but for some reason, they didn't take my money and I didn't get a criminal record so all went well. After that I started getting into crypto and now I have 19k LINKs(about $62k).
