People are going to get priced out of BAT day after day until they are left holding a measly 100 stack. When it finally pops its going to be extremely violent.

Gemini is trash

>> No.18361216

If you’re waiting for BAT to pump it most likely won’t until the project has more utility. Self serve ads, publisher ads, paywall subscriptions, and etc will be services that give people incentive to see BAT as more desirable and get more people to hold. That being said in for braps!

Whats surprising to me is that people think brave/bat is just some static web browser with some trash token built in. They cant see the forest for the trees. Brave has 14m users, and thats 14m more users than 99% of the other cryptocurrencies out there. As brave expands their utility and grows their userbase its going to make a ton of tokens obsolete.

14m users. Honey was purchased for $4b at 20m users. We should hit that by the end of the year. If they can keep this momentum going, brave will be a behemoth in 2-3 years.

What if you earn it from running a vpn node, use it for single article paywalls, or use it for vpn service? What does it not do that other coins do?

Fuck it, you're a virgin emotionaly attached to friends or girls, I'm a real Chad out there attached to coins which can give me sex, freedom and fun. Believing in crypto usually is a really nice way to make money, unless you're believing in some shitcoin like $PoN, I lost 40% on that shit. IMO invest in bitcoin and believe in it, it's better to believe your coins than to believe your girlfriend. Also, fuck Jannies and wagies!

What does it to that other coins don't?
It's just a low-fee cryptocurrency, isn't it?
What niche does it fill that isn't already filled by countless others?

My BAT are right now locked in my Brave wallet. Honestly the wallet KYC leaves a bad taste in my mouth and is part of why I'm uninterested in BAT. Brave users use Brave specifically because it's privacy focused. So a wallet KYC is antithetical to that.

I'll end up tipping BAT to content creators on Reddit or something, if I can send it straight from my Brave wallet, but I have no intention to buy any from the market. I just don't see a valuable use for it.

Are you saying it fills a niche that countless others do?

You do realize that its leading in that respect. Yeah those coins can fill that niche, but at the end of the day they dont and wont have 20m users. Brave will beat them there by about 7 or 8 years, and by that point brave might just be sitting at a couple billion users. It makes those other coins worthless.

Brave if they actually advertised correctly could hit 200 million users this year. They're keeping the breaks on until the sdk and binance plug ins are complete. Gonna try to get 100k by the end of this year.

I'm 99% certain the Brave team (individual members with large amounts of BAT) sells off on news to balance the price. They literally suppress the price of their own token but I just don't understand why they do it.

I've been holding, fren. I've tipped some and I still have a little over 300 that I've accrued since rewards went live.
Don't exchange it right now, BAT is still undervalued. For reference, LINK & BAT were the same price not too long ago...
