18321877 No.18321877 [Reply] [Original]

The biggest loser from the coronavirus will be the American middle class, which is existentially threatened by the redistribution of wealth from the crisis response.
The mainstream media is making the crisis worse with every chance they get.
The clock is ticking for the government to get a handle on the pandemic or move to a strategy of mitigation.
The best course of action for retirement investors is patience, if at all possible.

>Yeah must be why they're laying off nurses

Because most med surg floors are empty, and the operating rooms are nearly empty since elective surgeries have all been cancelled. Most people don't want to go to the hospital while this is going on, most floors are getting patients out as fast as humanely possible, and many people who pointlessly went to the hospital or doc's office all the goddamn time are now staying away. The issue is that the ED and ICUs are over capacity due to coronavirus patients and it's a space issue more than a personnel issue (though a lot of regular nurses would have a hell of a time adapting to the ED and an ICU floor). My hospital outright converted 3 extra units in the hospital to be specifically for coronavirus ICUs and we expanded the size of the ED

Now again. Even chinks can get as many masks and ventilators as they want in a bit of rush. Don't you really think America cannot achieve the same? Imagine how stupid you look when millions of mask and ventilators are drafted like war scenario then suddenly find it is a China virus hoax.

Real estate is a form of intergenerational wealth.

You're not supposed to gain it for yourself.

And it its not in every epoch that it's even supposed to be possible to gather real estate.

It's as if your current spirit was partly here through your ancestors, when the harvest was plentiful. They should have been gathering for you.

>Biggest loser from the inevitable popping of the debt bubble will be the middle class

Corona is just the pin that pricked this everything bubble that's been building for ages.
Biggest problem is the entire purchasing power consisting of debt. No one owns shit.
People who have the most to lose in this situation is the middle class, because it's the private business owners and other people who own things, who have financed everything with loaned money.
Bubbles popping will always lead to a massive wealth transfer from the small player to the hands of the bigger one.
This crash will be the final nail in the coffin of the middle class. It's going to be megacorporations, banks and new oligarchs who control stuff from now on and climbing higher in society will become even harder than it's been before.
We'll see people absolutely raped by taxes and regulations when we emerge from this depression years from now.
