Well, /biz/? Should I read it if I want to get good at stonks?

>> No.18275822

Yes. Just reading is not sufficient however. You need to take notes and cross-reference everything. There will be a quiz at the end.

It’s a useless chink self help book

The Art of War can be read in half an hour. Read it to flex on pseudointellectual normies.

If you can figure out how fighting your enemy from a higher elevation with the sun at your back translates to stocks then yes.

>> No.18275928

OP here. Seriously though, I have $50k in cash and don't plan on any big purchases for the next 5 years. Should I just push it into mutual funds / ETFs and ride the stonks for the next few years?

>> No.18275930

The Art of War is applicable to everything in life from economics to war to relationships.
There's one section that unironically improved my skills in video games, and also helped with personal relationships and stocks.
It's absolute kino/10

>> No.18275940

if I sat down for even a day and thought logically about anything that could be used as a tactic to gain advantage over your opponent i would have my own art of war. books are for lesser niggers trying to be a shitter version of someone smarter than them

Spoken like a true retard. Have you not seen the study on children growing up with or without books in their home and the level of success they achieve. Oh that's right, you wouldn't have it's in the book Freakonomics.

I would not recommend. The book is pretty outdated. I'd recommend The Art of the Deal.

How does Art of War even fit with investing? There's no opposition. You're not managing a group of people. Unless you're a whale, you won't be able to make noticeable impacts on the market.

As for relationships, if you suck at them to begin with (low EQ), there's no way the book would help you. It'll just make things worse because you'll get an inflated sense of charisma.

i tried reading the art of war and it was like a fucking mental doodle note book of obvious things that give you an advantage, it was 6/10. no where near important or mind bogglingly good as people make it seem to be
