It takes about 10 years for the previous administrations decisions to take full effect. Dems always trash the economy then people wake up and hire Reps until the economy gets back on track and the Dems siren call of lies and child sex take hold again.

It takes 10 years for Republicans to undo Democrat fiscal responsibility when they decide to increase the deficit and print money to pay for it?

>10 years later it all comes crashing down since underlying MBS's are now utterly shit

>Obama racks up spending and goes from 70 to 110% debt to GDP, launches QE and 0% interest for 6 years which pumps the market up

>when the next chump takes office and a pandemic hits, the Fed has no resources and the market is artificially pumped up

Not making excuses per se but you have to see how these things affect each other decade to decade. Imagine parents who max out their credit cards for years, must feel pretty awesome during that time period. Then they die and you get their debt and their bags.

Nice try. Obama's fiscal stimulus was appropriate and saved us from the second Great Depression. When the recovery started, the deficit was halved thanks in part to his spending cuts ("The Sequester") and taxes on the rich. Economic growth and job growth during his second term were the same as Trump's first three years before he decided to become Communist and shut the entire economy down over the fucking flu. BAKA.

I could have done his job. Just cut massive fucking checks all around and pump a false sugar high into lending and spending through the Fed. Great job, about what I'd expect from a diversity hire history professor.

You can contain pandemics without being a communist and shutting the entire economy. Source: Barack Obama's presidency.

>> No.18270553

If Trump didnt delete our pandemic response team, and then approach the podium with a gamer slouch and a "i accept no responsiblity" attitude, while defering responsibility to everyone around him but also not truly listening to the actual professionals, we wouldnt have had such a massive drop. Instead he walks up on stage and yells at reporters while making a retard of himself. In his position, he is the face of our government, and when we're in a crisis it is critical our president knows how to conduct himself and calm the people.

His approach however is to lie to get the market back up and then say things that have no basis in reality. If we didnt hire a brainlittle to be the face of our nation, we would have this much more under control.

Its not all just number games, its the faith your government instills in the people that things will be okay. If Trump was anything other than a bumbling retard who didnt change his stance every time he goes up on stage Americans would be able to rally behind him.

What is hard to understand about "Democratic leadership is doing way worse in handling this crisis than Republican leadership on a tangible, boots on the ground basis." I live in a state with a Republican governor that took assertive and quick action on this virus and we're way undercount per capita. Why the fuck is New York state 50% of all national cases? This place is heralded as the beacon of Dem politics. Somebody should be calling for Cuomo and de Blasio's heads and instead they're whining about Drumpfy.
