Been in crypto since 2011 and bitcoin used to be great. Then China made ASIC miners and now 80% of hash power is China. CCP could shit on it any time they felt like it and that fucks the decentralized feature.

All the good Dev's are in projects no one shills on here like boring old Ethereum and Zcash.

Zcash is a dark horse. Just wait they are going to link anon payments into Ethereum smart contracts and then people can use smart contracts anonymously.

Not necessarily, because people are holding on to bitcoin as an investment. I would say it's overinflated, and will likely stay overinflated for a long time.

the reality is currency is useless unless you can use it to facilitate real trade. Very few products or services use even bitcoin or litecoin or any other big coin, and if they do they are literally just converting it back to USD as fast as possible. Perhaps if coins had inflation like USD or something it would encourage people to spend and not just hoard.

However cryptocurrency is plagued with ponzi's, which usually consist of pump-and-dump coins that "influencers" create and tell all their get rich quick faggot fans to co out and buy.
