He can try but lobbyists will go to war against it and probably win.

This is important, but we don't have too many people in medical insurance nor enough information to get an idea of the reality of the headline. Hospitals will choose over this.

It would be funny if Trump totally discredits UBI and univeral healthcare, simply by implementing them.

Not necessarily. Trying to separate business from politics is like trying to separate a donkey and mule. They aren't exactly the same thing, but one usually fucks the other.

Only ancap retards would be against universal healthcare. Every talking point against it has been discredited. Every other first world nation recognizes health care as a human right.

It’s crap. Go try a private hospital like Kaiser then go use a welfare mandated hospital . The difference is insane. Universal healthcare would kill so many people

>> No.18260457

>>18260392
I'm against universal healthcare because I already have healthcare through my job for $600~/yr. If we get universal government paid healthcare, it will cost significantly more than that in taxes.

I am extremely against it because it's expected to cut my salary by 40%. In addition, for a more humanist perspective, people don't realize the higher payouts of private insurance keep many clinics and hospitals open. If medicare for all is enacted, healthcare is going to be more inaccessible for rural areas due to this

im a medical biller and supply will always meet demand. if youre a good doctor your salary will be more than fair. You dont see the bills patients get, i do. They routinely get fucked in the ass by deductibles and coinsurance and it gets worse every year

>> No.18260626

>>18260509
I'm just telling you the general consensus from what I've heard. I don't worry about the finances of the hospital, but if they try to meet Bernies "negotiated bare-bones medicare rates" my guess is many of them will go under and they will be forced to greatly slash salaries across the boards. You can't uproot a system like this overnight in the third largest country in the world. Bernie is an idealist but there's more practical solutions. Limiting deductibles would be a better first step

>> No.18260711

>>18260464
Hell yeah your salary is going to go down. Consider it a sacrifice for the betterment of your people.
