Who gives a shit? Honestly who? You gonna retire with your happy wife and loving children who you expect to be visiting your selfish ass in your multiple homes? No. You get a bitch wife that hates you and kids who hate you and one grandkid who you are still incapable of being a loving family member to because you are mentally unwell then you get cancer 15 years before you planned on it and realize you wasted pretty much your entire life by being an asshole. You better hope for now than a depression you need a miracle

Literally any other kind of hero would be less shitty. Even nurses get paid so they can live reasonably. If not for crypto and splitting rent I'd be paycheck to check like most of the rest of the miserable people I work with. Groceryfags weren't exactly super content before this unless they like being poor or they're braindead, and if anything, corporate's fucked us harder by raising expectations despite limited staffing and expecting people making $8/hr to train new hires while getting yelled at by karen for not knowing when a truck shows up. It's some next level clown shit and we already have department heads stepping down because they're required to show up at 3am to get ready for a buttfucking. I've had this shitty job for a year and it's 6 months overdue for me to move onto something else, I just feel bad for leaving people hanging because everything's so fucked.

Seeing that we're in a global recession and kung flu still won't peak for a couple more weeks (at least), finding something else that's hiring that ISN'T grocery will be pretty tough. I'm keeping my eyes open for other jobs that are hiring on the spot.
