It's kind of nuts that as a foreigner I get my free healthcare and great social safety net, along with the government subsidizing wages and giving a generous monthly paycheck for those that lost their jobs AND on top of that I can make a killing every year my just investing in US equities which will sacrifice the livelihoods and futures of US citizens in order to maximize the stock price for me.

In a way it parallels what happened to China, except American citizens are getting poorer and losing power. At least the Chinese middle class got a bit wealthier. Either way, the populations of both countries are treated like shit and just used as fuel for the economic engine that ANYONE with free capital from anywhere in the world can buy into.
