>> No.18128336

also: my LCS has rolls of eagles available for $450. is it better to buy that right now, or get something like brittanias or 10oz bars for $18-19/oz?

The only right answer

>> No.18128511

assuming 10000 dollar gold and 10000 point DOW, silver will be worth about 500$/oz

So about 20 should get you a used japanese car

>> No.18128637

>>18128511
what kind of used japanese car costs 10 grand
at that price you could by a shit box with one or two

Retards in this thread
Silver holds its value against inflation, so take the current price of physical ($18-20) and divide by current price of a used car (2-5k) so maybe 100-500 oz for a used car and 1-2k oz for a newer car

>> No.18128735

that sounds more realistic

1.

I can buy either option right now.. I'm trying to decide which! I already have some of each. Just can't decide if ASE is worth the extra $3-4 premium

This. Only if you take loan for car now and hiperinflation hits you can benefit from exchange rate.

No. SIlver is useless. Its okay to hold a few roles of silver coins, but you should really Buy fractional gold and stack that instead

Factor in the historic price suppression of silver too. That changes things.

>> No.18129837

That and the fact that car prices are currently hyperinflated due to east credit

>> No.18129916

>>18128373
$450 is a decent price at this point in time but a year from now we might have the mints open again and the price still depressed and then you can get the roll for $400. Or inflation can take off and you are paying $500 for a roll. Depends on your appetite for risk.

I would like to believe that, I used to believe that, but I can't anymore. Is the general public stocking up on silver in anticipation of financial collapse? No, they're stocking up on toilet paper in anticipation of a dirty butthole. I'm not saying silver won't moon, but if it does, it's likely because JPMorgan cornered the market and has a vested interest in silver mooning, not because the incumbent financial system is crumbling
