Italian doctors have stated that patients usually die if they have to ge on a ventilator for more than 20 days.

Basically there is a long asymptomatic phase of two weeks, then you get sick and 15 percent of cases require hospital care. Of that, patients who are in ventilators for 3 weeks usually die.

So were talking a month and a half before the death numbers start piling up.

USA is testing much more than anyone else, hence the high numbers. No other countries but Asian countries and Germany come even close to US testing numbers.
