seirously i might kill myself over this

don't feel bad about it, lots of people that "predict markets" for a living was long.

>> No.17931960

you also missed the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy eth for $10 in jan 2017 and sell it for $1000 in december 2017
granted, you were probably in middle school back then so it doesn't sting you as deep. but consider this was only 3 years ago. "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunities come every year

>> No.17931973

>>17931897
>it was so obvious
Always is after the fact, you fuckin donkey. Anyway who has had last success in markets doesn't think like this. All the other times your predictions failed but didn't take a position you simply forgot about all these instances. The one time you get it right you're upset.

Not to pour salt on your wound, but imagine how most of us fucking feel having known about Bitcoin before 2012 and barely investing. It kinda hurts. That drive is why we keep investing.

>buy eth for $10 in jan 2017
It's not the same thing bro, noobody could seriously have made a convicing case back then for why eth should go from $10 to $1000, you'd have to be literally retarded to have believe dit at the time. People who made money off it had essentially won a lottery
On the other hand, this crash was 100% predictable to anybody who was paying attention to the events in china throughout january/early feb. The DOW made an ATH in february, and one month later it crashed 20+% in a week, and will likely continue to crash. An opportunity like that literally comes once in a generation

>> No.17932231

>>17931973
nah but it was obvious before the fact, if you were paying attention. Just look at the facts:
>new virus emerges
>within a matter of 2 weeks it rips through the whole of china, infecting every province and bringing the country to its knees
>cases begin emerging on every major continent
>high mortality rate, even higher than SARS
>seems to spread as easily as the flu
>no vaccine in sight for at least a year
>brand new virus so literally nobody is immune to it
it was so fucking obvious that this was going to happen, anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand how exponential growth works in these kinds of situations. This was 100% predictable, and I have no excuse for not having made several millions from this event.

you dumb fuck, this crisis has barely even begun, it's going to get a whole lot worse once liquidity begins drying up
anyway, once the bottom does come in, all I'll have is a paltry 50k to buy with, imagine if i had shorted and could buy the bottom with millions... FUCK i don't think i can live with this regret

I reached $515K in February. Thought about selling everything and going into stable funds. But I got greedy. The bubble was supposed to pop in 2018 and looked like it had and recovered. Then my monies went up 30% in 2019. If they went up 10% in 2020, it was $50K free money that I would miss out on. Did a HODL that first dip, then the next dip, then I thought it would bounce, it bounced, then bigger dip........now it's too late to sell I lost about $180K and will lose more today
