17815960 No.17815960 [Reply] [Original]

This is a digital market crash in the truest sense. There is no hurricane destroying houses and infrastructure. No bombs are leveling cities that will need to be rebuilt. No earthquake or tsunami is destroying real wealth. Keyword real.

Digits in computers are making people sad. That's the extent of this crash. Yes, people are getting sick and not working as much. Yes, people will miss work days. Schools will close. Some old people will die and pass their inheritances on. Some boats are delayed and factories are not making widgets.

And when it passes, roads, bridges, tunnels, piping, electrical grids, factories - everything will still be there. Everything.

The market, when it bounces back, is going to bounce back so much faster than most people currently realize because this is such an unprecedented natural disaster in the information age that its behavior has never been seen. And what hasn't been seen, small minds have trouble imagining, and hence predicting.

The stock market will continue to crash - for now. The digits will make more people even more sad. Some people will have some genuine hardship, and for most, their landlords will say "ok I understand, we'll figure it out later after all this passes." Measures will be passed for clemency to most debtors made during this crisis - because the red digits didn't actually destroy anything. Bailout digits will be created to cancel some debt digits. And then it will all be over.

Screencap this post. When it's over, it will be the greatest stock buying opportunity of your lives. It's NOT over yet, but just wait. The dawn will come and you'll be kicking yourselves if you don't get back in at that time.

don need to be welfare faggots to be poor all of a sudden now. Quite a lot o my acquaintances are self-employed in the events industry, tech work for exhibitions, sports broadcasts n sheeit. Its an entire industry that literally got JUST'ed overnight. Should these blameless hard-workers, plus families etc. be made homeless? Should a court agree to their eviction in these troubled times? Fuck, no. Let the landlords suffer. And fuck you too, Moshe

Lmao you're going to get fucked so hard and because of your hubris you're totally unprepared

I was a landlord for a few years, had a couple decent properties when I was young, but I quickly realized it was parasitism par excellence. If you understood Georgism you would know this but you're just another basic bitch landlord. Anyhow I went another route and now own a manufacturing company in the United States. I'm the last person who's going to be fucked by this.

corporations have been preparing for a major crash for a while now. they will take this as an opportunity to reform themselves, fire A LOT of people, sell

>for most, their landlords will say "ok I understand, we'll figure it out later after all this passes."
lolno, landlors will be affected too, and they will want their share...

>Measures will be passed for clemency to most debtors made during this crisis
govts don't give a shit about your debt. they only care about the banks & corporations you owe to.

I am doing fine. Not holding any slumlord assets only in great locations. Return is of cause lower but property value is going up and up.

How did you come about owning a manufacturing company? Rare to see somebody actually owing a business and not shilling another scheme.

I built it from the ground up, making widgets and selling them, practically door to door, gradually reinvesting in new capital until I had the revenue to prove the business enough to get a small loan, used that to purchase more equipment and scale. Of course I rely on some imported subcomponents like anyone else but our Asian friends are fanatical about making delivery. Some manufacturing industries are still ripe for entry but no one wants to join because either it's not a sexy industry or not their personal passion. I personally love the business of business, the widget itself makes no difference.

Thanks, good luck with your properties. We were about to get another loan and I told our lender I'm not so sure, with this virus we might want to wait, now they're bending over backwards to give us the best possible terms. I told them we'll see what the fomc meeting brings this week. For those willing to take the risk this could be the opportunity for an inexpensive loan at rates that may not return for a long time. That's assuming this isn't the Armageddon many are making it out to be.

Do you blame yourself for not being prepared for this crash?
I didn't have any more fiat ready for investing and my bags were full so I ended up holding worthless imaginary tokens having to wait for them to pump back.
Well I have some other money but I don't plan to pour any more of those into the crypto, retarded approach maybe?
