Government programs like the FDIC prevent bank runs from happening anymore. What previously would have resulted in bank runs will now result in hyperinflation. Instead of some people losing all their money, everybody will lose money. It's sort of like socialism, the money that would have been lost in a bank run will now be distributed across everybody who has money.

Do banks even need cash on hand?

Yes because the meme digital systems that banks and fintech created don't work well at all for international travel.
The 10k limit on airplanes is so outdated people could buy houses with that kind of money when it was established.

On top of that the meme digital systems only work well internationally between first world nations and individuals that can prove 100% their income(and even then it may be frozen because who the fuck knows).

Fact is that cash is needed due to this crap , also bank insurance is retardedly low relative to hard assets like housing.

The insurance in the 1970s was 40k but you could buy probably two houses with that money.

Now the insurance is 250k but you can't buy a cuckshed.
This shit is why the housing bubble is so big , people are buying housing to protect their wealth.

>> No.17814629

>>17814595
>>17814572
I would not be so sure anons , yes the bank run meme may not happen again instantly in one day due to people using cards.

But the system has so many limits that are never updated that all you need is 1 year to lose the entire confidence in this digital system.

For example here in my meme country Argentina the banking system is no longer working and is seriously dangerous to let your money in it.

So people are using cash but cash atm limits are not updated so the extraction limit that was 300 usd per extraction , is now reduced to 54 usd per extraction with a 15 usd fee + fucked up exchange rate.

All because the boomer retards in charge don't use the systems they are creating, they have destroyed the system with so many limits that people are literally going to uruguay to use atms there or using bitcoin as bank accounts.

As i see it it's even worse in first world nations because there are even more lmits there and in one short period of inflation the entire system can go to shit since people are not usually dealing with inflation.

For me, it's Charmin’ Ultra 2-Ply. The best toilet paper around. I even ask for extra 2-ply at the Walmart checkout counter, and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.
One time I asked for Charmin 3-Ply and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly Walmart worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three ply. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local Walmart Supercenter, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great toilet paper that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily pooing needs.

I even wipe my dog with Charmin Ultra, it’s super soft! What a great toilet paper brand.

Honestly you people laugh at toilet paper hoarders, but you really dont have enough toilet paper yourselves. The average person uses 1 roll per day. If you have a family of 4, that's 28 rolls a week. Over 100 a month. TP rolls will be worth their weight in gold in a few months, because everyone needs it.
